Re: Are you the AD or Coach?

Coach all the way. AD's don't really play a big part in the success of college football teams. Not like Owners in pro football. I think that AD would kinda detach u from the game. Yea u can hire and fire coaches. ( Which i think would be cool) But I feel that coaching is the essence of college football. Coaches recruit the players, select their own staffs, make the decision on who plays or not. AD just sit back and decide on when to upgrade the stadium. lol. I say if its anything that really separates the college game from the pros is that college coaches have alot more control over how the team is run, esp concerning players.

Well, i was wondering if you'd rather hire coaches or be the one hired.
You still would get to play/recruit and so everything the same.

i feel like the coach but i'd rather have the coaches change instead of having to change schools.

Yea but the difference is that u would have to recruit as an AD. And AD's don't recruit for coaches. That would take away from the immersion factor for me. If it was AD mode i would rather for coaches to recruit there own players.

The question is would you rather stay with the original team or leave when a better job is offered; that's it. Not scheduling vs recruiting or stadium building vs gameplanning, etc; just would you stay or go.

I would want to stay at the same school, so I guess AD. I think it would be great to have to hire new assistant coaches because they leave or get fired based on their performace and your school's prestige.

Re: Are you the AD or Coach?

Definitely the coach for me. A coach is everything in college football anyways. An AD is not like being a GM of an NFL franchise.
