Re: What's the difference between EA's player ratings and your own player ratings?

Maryland, great credit for doing this, I love the toned down ratings. I guess my only fear is that the recruited players eventually becoming 95+ and outshining the initial rosters. I suppose there's nothing u/we could do about that, though.

One thing that has always bugged me about the dynasty rosters down the road is a team can stockpile QBs, and have their third string guy rated over 90. Same thing with RBs and other positions. I know EA has toned them down but I really wish they'd reserve the 95+ OVR guys for truly elite players, instead of having at least 10 guys at each position every year in a future dynasty.

I'd love to enter 2018 and see only 1 or 2 guys at each position rated 94 or higher, but I'm skeptical.

I'm DYING for performance based ratings.

Maryland you have to try to find away to get those guys into 70's for awareness

The reason being is because they are going to turn the ball over a lot in most offline dynasty games.....

You can do this by tweaking their break tackle ratings if you haven't already....kinda like reduce break tackle and increase awareness to keep their overall down.

But those guys with awareness under 70 are going to spazzz out in the game and start throwing picks unless of course your willing to do like I do every year and drop the catch ratings of the defenders down significantly accross the boards.

That will make the defenders use the knockdown animation more often as opposed to actually trying to catch the ball in return reducing the INT's you see per game with default settings.

The only problem is that's a helluva lot of defenders but it does work great and balances out the passing game very good. More deflections by defenders instead of INT's because they have hands of glue at default.

Other than the 3 guys with low awareness you posted everything looks else great

Also on this group here focus on these ratings

Ball Carrier Vision, Elusiveness, Agility, Awareness and Juke Move those are the hidden ratings that force the Mobile QB's to attempt to make more plays with their feet in the game.

You can jack up the elusiveness rating and juke move rating really high if you want it won't effect their overall ratings they are just complimentary ratings that EA never utilizes correctly to make the atheletic QB's take off and run more if they sense pressure.

OK that's it......pretty soon I'll have no more secrets left for my own set of rosters............

t
Those are just the ratings I have given the players without focusing on their other attributes, once I do that I will see some increases in those attributes which will mainly be the Awareness

They are not secrets if I already know them.
