Best Small school in NCAA 2011?

Who's the best small school with the most talent to start a dynasty with? I definitely want a good qb and decent defense. I know Boise St & TCU are loaded but I want more of a challenge. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys.

SMU is a 2 star school with a young sophomore gunslinger.
And their playbook is really fun too.

SMU's got an excellent playbook and would be worth a try. Also from C-USA, there's Houston, Southern Miss, and Central Florida who would be worth looking into.

Middle Tennessee (though I hate them) would be a good team to use from the Sun Belt. Troy and UL-Lafayette are probably decent choices as well. Of course, a better one would be the Arkansas State Red Wolves

From the WAC you could try Nevada who run the pistol offense, and Fresno State would be worth a look as well.

Can't tell you much about the MAC (the only conference I don't keep up with at all).

Mountain West has BYU and Utah in addition to TCU who are all good teams.

I love Middle Tennessee State. Their QB Dwight Dasher is a great fit for the Air Raid offense, and their WRs can catch. For a 1 star school, they are pretty good.

Middle Tennesee St. has an awesome offense. Dwight Dasher is a beast at QB, but unfortunately he is a Senior. They have two good running backs, one senior and one junior.

Houston is the 23rd or 24 largest school in the country (38,000 + students), wouldnt call it small. lol
