Not trying to start anything but this video proves you have reason to be skeptical. Watch the last 4 minutes of the video. It breaks down the trailer very nicely.

Again, not trying to bash ea or their efforts with this title. Just thought this video would be relevant to the discussion

Eh, even he said they are going in the right direction. One person's eopinion vs another persons eopinion.

Won't sway me one way or the other.

A. Still, a WIP.
B. In the trailer at the end, doesn't praise what they did right, just rips on what he feels is wrong, which some of it is true. Too much bias for me.

We'd all be silly not to assume they aren't cherry-picking these shots and replay angles. What I really want to see is straight-up gameplay video. Just play the darn game and let me watch it roll. Don't pick the plays that look best for what you're trying to highlight or the point you're trying to make. I appreciate the sentiment but don't blow smoke...

Any improvement > no improvement. From the videos, its removed enough for me. What I wonder is how things like QB accuracy will be portrayed and how it affects game balance...as well as speed threshold tuning b/c the tackle window is smaller.

people need to understand that until the next wave of consoles, the gameplay engine is going to have it's limitations. A lot of us say that "Well, APF2K8 can do this, and is more realistic there." but lets be honest, that game has it's problems too, trust me it has glitches. Nobody knows about it because the masses don't play it enough to put those problems to the forefront. As long as there is improvement with this engine, that's all that matter.

Definitely looks like an improvement. Anybody who is happy with the series will continue to be. People who aren't I don't see this year swaying too many people. I enjoyed 11, so I'll probably enjoy 12, but I'm really really growing tired of seeing the same old stuff from EA football. They don't even try to hide it well either.
