I think this is why a lot of people are so disappointed every year because they expect wholesale changes to core gameplay. This will not happen this gen. The engine just isn't dynamic enough.
this makes me wish that they would have just imported the game instead

The worst part of seeing issues that have been around for a long time is that we will still see them in 2014 when the next next Gen systems come. Does any one think this "gameplay" engine is all that different from the XBox and PS2? I for one am tired of hearing maybe this is just an early build because to my mind once EA starts releasing videos what we see is what we get with the final product. I am also tired of hearing they can't do this or that on the current systems because other developers have shown otherwise.

I like everyone here will buy the game and have fun with it because I have no other option. Although I have learned my lesson and rather give my money on a used copy to someone on eBay rather then to EA.

Let's see what happens with PS4/XBox 720!! :-/

Well, yeah, they completely built a new one for the 360/PS3. It obviously plays completely different too.

Of course I am not going to change my opinion. I don't want EA to remove a feature that forces me to pay for a roster file that I have been able to get for free via the in-game roster sharing. I'd say the majority would agree with me as well.

Nah speak for yourself. I'll make a decision either way once I play the demo. You have another option, it's called not buying a game at all. I do laugh when I hear people say they'll buy the game every year though, from a business perspective you have to respect how strong EA's hustle is. Eliminate any comp and get people to purchase your product every time regardless.

You could really see the new HDO lighting effect when MIZZ runs out of the tunnel in the 2nd vid. When the sun hits the uniforms it looks very realistic and the bright colors are still bright in the shade, and still hold a good color in the sun.
