This is what I want to know as well. The Big 12 may still have divisions, which I find pointless with 10 teams. Really, divisions are pointless unless you have more than 12 teams and every conference that has that many has divisions so hopefully it is just a checkpoint like for a title game; hit 12 teams, get a title game.

i'm a software programmer, so my intuition is that Independents is treated just like any other conf in the code (and it already is in previous versions which is why you have Ind standings/stats/all americans/etc). so you probably have to have at least 4 independents

according to the video you can make changes to bowl tie-ins and conferences after each season, i hope you can also make bowl tie-in changes too...i really hope we get all the info we need tomorrow

I have a feeling you are absolutely correct on the Independent statement. I wish that was not the case but understand the logic in having to do so to make it work.

I just hope we can have more than 120 teams, add some teambuilder teams in the mold of 1-AA teams so we can have more than 4 teams in the left over conferences. Does anyone think we get that? I wonder how many we'd get as well, guess 2morrow may reveal that.

more teams would be nice, cause right now my plans mean that the WAC will always be a 5 team conference. and technically there are 12 conferences (6 BCS, 5 non, Ind) - i doubt you will be able to eliminate any

Yeah, no eliminating conferences. I recall that being confirmed. You have to have 4 teams min, 16 teams max.

That's another reason your hypothesis on the Indies having to have at least 4 makes sense to me as well. If you can't eliminate the WAC, why would it let us eliminate the Independents? Doubtful.

Definitely hope we get more teams allowed but I'm not sure how they will make all that work. I hope they did their hw on this as I'm sure they did and test it out and make it work well.
