So now that Custom Conferences are in what changes will you make?

First of all let me say that this news is amazing. For those of us who have been asking for this kind of stuff for the past 5 years this feels like christmas. I am very excited to buy this game again, and i finally feel like i used to on the PS2 version of the game.

Now on to my question. You guys will have to forgive me if this has already been answered.

1. Does anyone know what will happen to a conference if you completley blow it up. For example lets take the big 12. Lets say i move OU, OSU, TEX and A&M to the PAC 12. I move Kansas, K State and Mizzu to the Mountain West. Tech, Baylor and Iowa State to Conference USA. So what happens to the BIG 12 in the game. Will the computer know that the conference is gone, will it still try to add teams to it ? Will you even be able to do this ? I know this might be something that I will have to wait for an answer on, but i thought maybe someone might have an idea.

2. Does anyone know if there will still be conference invites, and if so will the computer take into account the new Custome Conference logic. Ex: If i run a dynasty with OU will the PAC 12 try to come steal me away. ?

1. every conference has to have at least 4 teams. so that wouldn't happen.

2. hasn't been said, but I assume it'll still be there. not sure about the rest.

So then the best thing to do would be to make minor tweaks to conferences. But, not take to much away from them.

It's time to bring back the Southwestern Conference. This time SMU won't have a slush fund

I am very excited about the potential this new Custom Conferences mode can bring. I do have to ask, will Teambuilder play a part in this?

An idea for 4 major conferences. Geography was skewed sometimes to match up the prestige of the schools. Tried to match up the conferences as much as possible so they would all be evenly good. The star ratings for the schools are based off of what they were in NCAA 11.

The Divisions are built in as well, the top is 1 division, bottom is the other. Tried to keep them as even as possible.

I have a couple other ideas that I've worked with too - I'm having way too much fun brainstorming new ideas for conferences...

I'd be tempted to make the Mountain West Conference that was OH SO CLOSE to happening... Complete with championship game and BCS bowl tie-in...

Wyoming (or maybe Idaho)

MWC South
Fresno State
Nevada
New Mexico (or maybe Houston/SMU)
San Diego State
TCU
UNLV

It has 4 geographic rivalries (Fresno-SDSU, Utah-BYU, Nevada UNLV, Air Force-Colorado St).

I could tweak it further by adding Houston (or SMU) and Idaho while dumping New Mexico and Wyoming so we have 2 teams from 6 states and everyone has a geographic rival.
