That's pretty insightful actually. I liked how Marshall turned it around last year as well. That would give WVU a rival like you said and Louisville would still have Cinci. I could move Cinci down into the South Division and put Marshall in their place in the North.

Hmmm, it's be nice to add another and get to 14 though. It would be nice to get Boston College back from the ACC.

would you consider Navy? idk if they are against joining a conference. i think the big east would be good for navy and army. Temple could easily end up back there also for football only. i don't remember if you had them on your original list.

You could trade ECU out for Memphis, but honestly, Memphis doesn't seem to want to compete in college football. They're not likely to join the Big East by 2014

Outside of that you could add (while pretending Memphis started caring):

2016
Houston - Natural rival to TCU
Memphis - Rival to UL

Then the divisions would break up:

North
Rutgers
UConn
Cinci
Pitt
WVU
ECU

South
Louisville
TCU
Houston
Memphis
USF
UCF
I like the idea but Syracuse is missing from your 2016 expansion plan. If I was doing it, I would get rid of Memphis so I had 12 teams but you could keep Memphis and go to 13 teams.

2 Problems:

1-Navy and Army most likely will never join a conference, especially after a failed C-USA run by Army
2- If you're going for realism, Army and Navy's basketball programs, IMO, are too weak to win a game in the Big East. They play in the Patriot League, one of the smallest, non-scholly, D1 conferences

well i was talking about in game but the big east would only take Navy or Army football only. i think they are already at 15 or 16 for bball. They wouldn't be full members.

Does anyone think having only 5 Bowl Bids could cause problems!?
