Re: Why the obsession with broadcast cam?

I don't mean on replays, I mean from the snap, why doesn't tv show more plays LIVE from behind the offense to see whats going on. I like options, I feel you guys should have that option, but also its really for those who just wanna play coach mode. You can't make plays yourself from that view or see cutback lanes effectively.

Also to the guys talking about replays, I would hope that a network with millions in a production budget would come up with something better than I could do on a $60 video game, But noone was talking about replays, we were talking about live play. Of course you can edit and piece multiple cameras to see what happened after the fact. But the bottom line is the default tv broadcast view shows you nothing live except for the result of the play. From behind the offense you actually see the throwing lanes, and you see running lanes. you might already understand why the play worked or brokedown even before getting to replay. I want more behind the offense live shots.

Yes! or a camera view the follows the ball, just a little zoomed out so your screen has the player possesing the ball in it. This would be a nice addition to CPU v CPU, coach mode or any game where you play one position only and let the CPU do the rest.

But we should definitely have more camera options available.
