How about Tulane. Having A's in Academic Prestige and Campus Lifestyle is a nice advantage.

Re: Good teams to build up?

I'm using Western Michigan.

They're a 78 overall, so they're decent.

Great QB and HB.

Mediocre Defense.

Decent Pipelines but poor pitches.

Sweet Unis.

Respectable Sized Stadium (Over 30k)

And This:

Re: Good teams to build up?

I'm using UNLV. Their QB is ok, their #3 WR seems to be a human vaccuum and catches everything I throw at him. The defense not so sure about as I have to score about 30+ pts a game just to have a chance. But I'm playing as their OC.

I use LSU's playbook and the HB Draw from the pistol seems to be the money play. RB avgs about 4.8YPC but I swear when I run that play with the Oline getting out infront he avgs about 6.5-7 YPC.

Edit:

Uniforms are decent looking for UNLV, plus you get the pipeline states of CA, NV, and TX. And campus lifestyle being an A makes it easy to recruit some 3*s. Seem to have to battle Tulane a lot though for the same recruits.

If you're looking for a spread option team, Army has an 80 ovr QB with 86 spd that's still a junior. Absolute terror running the ball even with the horrible o-line.

Re: Good teams to build up?

This may be more of a challenge than you are looking for, but I started a dynasty as the OC for San Jose State and they have a few decent pieces (Good SR RB and some decent young receivers who should develop) to start with and the obvious advantage of being in the talent-rich state of CA. Their uniforms are nice, and if you wish to stay in the WAC for a while, you have a very winnable conference. I like the uniforms a lot too, so it's a nice touch. Something about building one of the worst FBS programs up is exciting for me.

Re: Good teams to build up?

You can play as Akron or E. Mich(can put E. Mich in Big 10). Both those teams are horrible, but if you can build them up, you can build any team up. I don't like either of their unis though. So what I did was make a teambuilder of Cincinnati Bearcats and changed all the ratings to match Akron's roster (as their roster is worse than the cupcake roster you can pick in teambuilder lol). Than made sure they were 1star team with really bad ratings for recruiting.

I moved bearcats into ACC and so far I'm 4-3 (4 wins against cupcakes but than got into ACC play and lost all 3 games). Really good challenge and I can see it's going to be a struggle till I get some play makers in there. I actually put Akron on my schedule and won 10-7 lol. I lost to NC 10-6 got blown out by VT and close game against clemson.
