Why would they be pretending to call a game? You could get some no name commentary ppl to deliver lines and you may get better personality.

How is no-name voice actors pretending to call a game better or worse than big time football announcers pretending to call a game? Voice actors can dedicate more time over a longer period and can provide more custom, game/team/player specific commentary than "professionals" could.

There is a reason commentary has been the same (and sucked) for years and years, they have a very limited amount of time with the ESPN crew members so they just rush through prepackaged lines without regard to tone or context. Even worse, they all record separately, which makes the "give and take" sound so pathetic.

I have no doubt that voice actors or even some of the lesser Fox Sports/ESPN2 level types could bring a whole lot more to the table than the stale commentary we have.

Seriously, 100% correct. Are they really gonna focus on commentary to make it better? Nobody appreciated commentary anyway. I mean I have no problem if they make it smoother. But they need to point out the improvements they are making in the relevant parts of the football aspect of the game.

Re: NCAA Football 13 news

I'm with the poster who said that if all they change are the pageantry aspects I won't be putting down my $60.00 this year. As it is, I will no longer be doing a midnight release/release day purchase regardless.

From my memory, I think they start releasing gameplay info around late March/early April.

I'm hoping I hear the words "Completely revamped", "Overhauled", "Addressed major issues"

If I don't I'm waiting at least a month to even rent it.

If you buy it wait til the Madden ppl trade it in and buy it used so EA doesn't get credit for the sale.

If they get it right, I'll gladly pay $60.00 for it. If they put out a great product I want them to get credit for the sale. As a teacher I like to provide positive reinforcement
