Decided to use Nebraska instead of Louisville, I just wanted a different challenge.

Took care of business for the most part. I will probably bump CPU pass rushing and pass coverage for the rest of the season.

Next game: UCLA

Just starting the 2028 season with Wazzu. Was the HC at FSU for my first 6 seasons and won 3 NCs. Won 4 NCs in a row at WSU so far. Just signed a 4 year extention.

Its been WSU vs Bama every year for the past 4 for the NC. Pretty boring. Wanted to leave WSU but you just don't get any good job offers at the HC level during the carousel. Def broken.

Sticking it out for another 3-4 seasons at WSU and then gonna take the most interesting job offered after that. Nothing more to do at this school.

I sim just about every game. I'll play one or watch a CPU vs CPU every now and then.

Just played a game against LSU that I won in a blowout. They arent as good. That game made it easier for me to sim the rest of the season. I wanted to play with the QB Im about to sign. But, I still wanted to play with the 90 speed QB. But, I didnt realized that QB was injured. He is out for 7 weeks. I am guessing he comes back around week 13-14 when all of our tough games are gone. I expect us to fall in the rankings. The backup is terrible. That is what I get for not having good backups. I kept a small board(17 players) and sign 13 of them already and the other 4 I am close to signing. I wont recruit any more until the offseason so, I can see how my roster looks.

Got to the national title game in year 3 with the NC State Wolfpack. Sort of funny that my opponent in the game was the Nevada Wolf Pack. Their speedy QB gave me some issues getting out of the pocket even when I had a spy on him, but I controlled the game with my running and won the my first of many titles.

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

Simmed the rest of the season. We went from 5-0 to 9-4. We must of had alot of injuries. The lost of of QB was a big loss. I turned up the rush sliders in coach info, so we can run more. My SR RB had a great season, but my JR WR who won best WR 1st 2 years, only had 600 yards and 7 TDs. Statistically as a team, this wasnt a good year. We only had 1 AA, and that was a FR AA. Injuries killed what could have been a better year. But, I did have the #1 regular season recruiting class signing 3 5-stars and 9 4-stars.

-QB- Had 2 QBs play alot due to injuries. I only had 2 QBs active to because I RSed the 3rd string. It wasnt good. It makes me feel better starting the #1 QB in the nation next year.

-HB- My starter Russell was the best player and the team MVP. He had 1922 yards and 16 TDs. He had extra carries because the backup was injured. I was disappointed that my backup Cook was injured most of this season. He only had 76 total touches and didnt even get over 900 career yards. But he and the starter will go into my Hall of Fame. Russell had over 5200 career yards and 46 TDs. Cook had over 5100 all-purpose yards. Russell went in the 1st rd and Cook was undrafted.

-WR- Copeland(JR WR) had a down year, which makes me think he will come back. But, his career numbers are still good. 231 rec, 3288 yards, 43 TDs. He is 5th in career Rec, 4th in career rec yards, and T-1st in TDs. If he declares for the draft, I will let him go. He has been consistent and good, but I have 2 good WRs coming in. edit: he is coming back. My #2 WR went in the 3rd rd.

-Defense- My JR OLB Woods led the team in tackles for the 3rd straight years. He has 240 career tackles, 54 TFL, 11.5 sacks, and 4 INTs. My JR DT Powers has 134 career tackles, 48 TFL, and 15.5 sacks. I want those 2 to come back. My SR DE Fitzpatrick has 22.5 career sacks and 60 TFL. He went in the 3rd rd. My #1 CB and backup FS went in the 4th rd

I am looking forward to next season. Even if I dont sign another player, we should still have a top-6 class. We will have a good FR QB and SS that will start. I had 10 players drafted. I had a backup JR FS, who never played much, declare for the draft and a FR FS transfer. I let both of them leave. The backup FS wouldnt of started and the FR wouldnt have gotten any playing time. That leaves me with only 1 FS, who is a SR, but I was able to sign one in the offseason. My 3 key players Copeland, Woods, and Powers all returned. Even though I lost 3 good SR RBs, I should still have a good running game(even though I never played with any of the RBs).

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

I lost a heartbreaker last night, 27-27 to Cal. I missed 3 FG's total, 2 to add to my lead in the 3rd quarter, and 1 with 5 seconds to go to tie. I was challenged all game, which was something I hadn't been getting in this dynasty recently.

The only thing I can do from here on out is win the remaining games on the schedule and hope I can slide into the National Title game. It's frustrating but it adds to the chase of winning the big one.

USC sits at 3-1 (1-1) #11 in the country.

THE AKRON TIMES

ZIPS CLOSING IN ON OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR
By Brock Silvers
4/28/12

Our sources are saying Head Coach Terry Bowden has narrowed down his choices to three. The reported nominees are Jeff Bowden (Terry's younger brother), Alan Arrington, and Matt O'Bannon.

The likely selection is Jeff Bowden. Jeff was with Terry at North Alabama as his Associate Head Coach & WR Coach. Before that Jeff was with his father Bobby Bowden as a OC at Florida State.

Now Alan Arrington is a real possiblity as he was OC at North Alabama on Bowden's staff. He was also the offensive line coach prior to Bowden's regime at North Alabama. Terry Bowden could decide to keep the same setup and bring both as they were at North Alabama.

Last and a person who I think will be on Bowden's staff but unlikely as The Offensive Coordinator is Matt O'Bannon. Currently O'Bannon is the OC at Upper Sandusky High School (OH). I could see him being hired as a running backs coach. Being only 22 he lacks coaching experience while the other 2 canidiates are very familiar to Terry Bowden.

We except the annoucement to be within the week.
