cool. didn't realize that about post ncaa 06 last-gen games. if what you're saying is true, then in ncaa 07 or 08 (ps2 / regular xbox), the stadium is always packed at the beginning of the first game of a dynasty season no matter who you are?

it's a double edged sword though because if i remember correctly, some of the bigger AQ conference teams' stadiums (in ncaa 2005 / 06) weren't completely packed at the beginning of a dynasty season when in real life they always sell out. this is something i will keep an eye on when i start going through dynasties in ncaa 2005. it'd be fun to take an also ran and start out with a half filled stadium and try to go undefeated and take on top 25 teams and see how attendance grows throughout the season.
Unfortunately, no I don't have the rosters anymore. As far as the stadiums that were not full, that's probably because the team was slumping. Yeah, even when Michigan stinks they still sell out, but I can get over that not a packed house EVERY game at a winless team.

It's not just the first game, it is every game the stadium starts out full post '06.

Re: NCAA Football 2006

I have every single version of the EA game. From Bill Walsh to NCAA 13. Have a custom cover for each one.

06 was my favorite. Have the whole soundtrack on my iPod. Great bands that opened the door for me to great music. And the game had a pretty nice cover

If anyone has some rosters from 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005 for PS2 laying around, let me know because I would love to have them and go back and play those games.

This was a special game. I still play it and like Madden 09 on the PS2, it still holds up after all this time.

Re: NCAA Football 2006

04 and 06 were my two favorites...too many drops in 05

While I do miss probation and violations, I didn't like how it was done...why should I have to waste points on discipline? I should be able to suspend as many players as I need or sit as many of them out for a half as I want. It would piss me off when I would run out of discipline points.

07 is still an amazing game and play it til this day lol. I have finished 9 full seasons (playing every game) with Rice and am 3-3 in bowl games. I have seen guys bust (5* started as an 80 ovr and finished an 84) and stars emerge. My favorite was my DE started his career off as a 61 and finished as an 83 as he was dominant for some reason (school record 38 career sacks). I remember having Chase Clement bust out of the NFL after 3 seasons as a backup in madden lol. still a great game

i have a dynasty where i input the top 10-15 recruits at each position and see how they progress thriugh college, then export the draft class to madden.
so much fun. Very time consuming, but being on a month long break and after a long semester...it is well worth the enjoyment!

Re: NCAA Football 2006

So many small details have been left out of the current gen games. I remember last gen if a game was a blowout you would notice the stadium slowly emptying out in the 4th quarter. It's the little things that are missing in these current gen EA games. Not very surprising though, because these days everything is all about flash and shine. Whether it's music, movies, sports, or whatever. Look at the ridiculous amount of new uniforms that these college teams feel the need to come out with on a weekly basis. And you wonder why the kids come here and whine and complain about some random one off uniform not being in the game. You wonder why ppl are more concerned with facemasks and helmets rather than gameplay.

Just the way things are now.

That's amazing. You can't do half that stuff in today's game without tweaking almost every slider in the game, and even then it still doesn't work right(although I havent tested out GMS' new theory he has goin). Hell I can't even pull off a 40 yard run in NCAA 13(I'm serious too.. players are way too fast in this game and I also hate how defenders come off blocks so easily. You can have a wide open lane up the middle but right when you run through the two dt's will just warp off their blocks and tackle you).

I really, really miss old gen football games. Still bar none the best gameplay. Madden is coming around though, but even their new engine doesn't work as good as they think it does. In my opinion anyway.
