I've noticed this too... I'm in week 5 or 6 and every team ranked lower than 12th except 2 random teams has at least 1 loss, most of them have 2. My top 25 is a wreck as well

I think a lot of it has to do with the combination of sliders and rosters. In my first dynasty I started I was getting the typical upsets everyone is seeing. Washington over LSU, FCS over Top 25, etc.
I then started using Jarrodd's Heisman sliders and I'm also using Buffeye's roster on 360 and it plays great! Realistic stats, realistic outcomes, Top 25 has no WTF teams in the top 10. Now I still see occasional upsets, like real upsets like Stanford over USC and others that aren't coming to my mind right now but in the end I think slider tuning and rosters make the game play completely different. I love my combo but everyone plays different so of course it doesn't work for everyone.

I think if you want to change the outcomes to games to make sure they win, save the dynasty BEFORE you advance the week. Because when you advance the week it comes up with the scores and they stay that way. No matter how many times you try to re-do them. But if you save before then you can go back to the save and do it again (advance the week) before the computer does the studio updates and gets the scores. So you can get the desired results. Though you probably won't get exactly what you want just keep doing it until you get the desired results. It's gonna be hard though if you want 10 teams to win, that may not happen not matter how had you try, but could work with less teams.

In my dynasty, this happened: Arkansas 41- ULM 17

C'mon EA!

But really, I'm following the Top 25 weekly in my dynasty, and not counting Top 25 v Top 25 matchups, at most 2 or so teams in the top 25 lose.

Noticed this as well. Not only losses, but blowouts. Bowling Green bet Florida 30-10, La Tech beat Texas A&M 27-13 among others.... I'm cool with a big upset once every few weeks, but multiple shockers in a week kinda ruins the realism for me.

Upsets happen (although IRL they're usually more minor in nature than what I've seen so far) and I like upsets as much as the average guy, but come on.

Last year to counter this, I simmed many of the top 25 teams' games each week. If a ranked team was playing another ranked team then whatever happened happened. If a ranked team was playing an unranked team and the Team OVR was greater than a full grade different (for example A- vs C+ or lower), then I'd save before simming the game. If the lower team won, I'd back out and reload the dynasty and re-sim the game. If the lower team won again, I'd let it stand. That way I had some control over the programmed "wackiness" while still allowing major upsets.

Unfortunately this year since the sim results are done as you advance from week to week, there is no way to bring some sanity to the results.
I do this as well and have been trying to find a work around as the upsets are ridiculous! .. has anyone found a way around this?

So far 4 weeks into my Dynasty FIU beat Georgia and Arkansas State beat Alabama. Then, ULM beat Arkansas and Western Kentucky beat Kentucky so maybe it's not that far fetched.
