The CPU can't stop it because it's too dumb. That's why stuff is cheese.

My guess of blocking 4-of-9 is either A. You have an elite player with great speed on the edge. B. Rushing the A gap with your deep guy creates a blocking logic issue allowing your edge rusher to come in untouched. C. You're using jump snap on aggressive and hrs beating the blockers off the line or D. You're playing on varsity or below which could inherently make it easier.

Most likely its a combination of some sorts.

Marvin Bracy is the guy on the edge. So I guess you can say he is kinda fast lol. He is the only guy I have ever blocked one with. Heisman sliders from here, so it's not a difficulty thing. The A-gap still has everybody blocked so thats not it either. So I think it is a speed thing he just beats the blocker off the edge every once in awhile and gets there.

This is correct. There are certain plays in the game that the AI doesn't figure out, EVER, they NEVER make adjustments.

So why do you care if someone cheeses the CPU? If they do it and youre in a sim dynasty, boot them. Otherwise, it shouldn't matter.

The reason people call cheese is in H2H games and most of it has a counter for it. Sometimes it's not always easy, but I've seen just about everything countered in some way.

The fact is, it is a video game and will never be perfect. People complained about not being able to stop the no huddle and they bonked it. Next thing they'll be making it impossible to block kicks.

Sometimes people need to stop complaining and start practicing...

Re: Punt Block effective against field goals

all of this would be solved if they added 2 plays to the playbook Overlord Luke Overlord Rick ...(That is what we call it in my high-school playbook) it is basically were you have most of your players line up on the Left or Right of the field goal block oh my how it is effective...
actually they should add in the swinging gate formation to.!
(sorry if this is too much terminology)

When someone nano blitzes you the only 'solution' is to immediately pass the ball the SECOND you get the snap. Being forced to limit your playbook to quick passes because your opponent knows how to mess with the offensive line's blocking AI is NOT something a player should have adjust to. That is classic cheese, and is bull****.
