Either you work around it or you stop playing the game if the no-huddle issue is that bothersome. It's basically that simple. The no-huddle animations are here to stay until the next patch at least, so you either work around it, or you don't run the no-huddle. He wasn't being an EA homer. He was stating fact.

Also, the EA haters need to stop piling on every post that even seems to back up EA. It's getting really tiresome. Don't even come at me with the "we want a better game and the only way to get that is to complain" pile of garbage either. I've heard enough of that too.

I agree with pretty much everyone else in this thread. Even though I don't like the no huddle "fix" and am against it, that didn't cost this guy the game. His stupid play calling cost him the game. You can't run the ball on 3rd down in that situation unless you're content with getting stuffed and not being able to get another play off.

Let's face it, the people who have a huge problem with the new animations are online cheesers who were used to playing one way for years and now that EA changed it those cheesers have lost their ish.

Look up my gamer tag and see ive never had a game online in 13... I don't like the process, I'd rather they look at the sidelines that do their animation thing that takes longer than actually just calling a new play. I'm not a fan of it, but it is what it is.

I'm not for sure if you are referring to me or not here but if so just so you know. The company makes a game that it patches and it looks at these forums and its own as well as others to get a good vibe of whats working and whats not. I've personally spoken with the producers at E3 and stressed some of the very same issues I've spoken about in this forum. If we don't discuss them and let it be known how we feel about them EA will never know its an issue. I personally like NCAA for the record however there are certain aspects of the defensive passing game I personally dont think is sim. (ie. DB's running in front of wr and TEs on their routes. etc...) This issues is widespread and well known and I'm going to voice my opinion on it as a matter of fact and nothing else. For you and people like you that dont want to hear about the garbage coming from others. Its really simple "DONT READ IT" and especially "NEVER RESPOND" Lol!

Or people like me who solely go online to download patches and rosters and have to completely re-tool their offense because of something that had no effect on them at all. I feel like I'm being taunted when the CPU flawlessly executes their no-huddle offense on the road in Autzen and at home I cannot. Seeing as I don't particularly agree with most things defined as "cheese", the fate of my game is determined by a few people online who can't stop something I have no issue with and I now deal with a comprimised game for $60 or a bug-filled one if I don't get the patches. Plus the way it is set up is unrealistic. Most teams get the play on their way to the line of scrimmage from a board on after a big play or look to the sidelines (an animation that is in the game and is quicker) if the previous play was a shorter gain so they can maintain an up-tempo pace.

It is a no huddle, do you see the teams get in a...huddle? No. With the way the game was you could pick a play while you were running down field and call hike as soon as you lined up and the magically knew the play which is unrealistic. No huddles are not just about making you call plays faster and trying to get set up faster it is also done majorly to wear the defense out and prevent time from teams getting subs on which it still does.

This is a atrocious example of this thing being a problem, that play-calling is play-calling that not even pop warner coaches would call.

Re: No Huddle "Glitch" Costs Guy the Game

I was gonna say, him being an idiot cost him the game.

Kick the field goal in that situation, he tried running four plays in 20 seconds, that's moronic.

Not to mention I get the animation takes 3-4 seconds, but if the clock was at 12 seconds he should've had more than enough time to call the run.
