Ya I get that but this isn't about the NFL it's about the college level an who its top players are An Manizel is clearly the better one in college just because he is a dual threat.

I also again don't get how anyone has a true read on how Manizel plays or how much better he will be. Again true freshmen so how can you say Bridgewater bar none would smoke anything JM does when he gets to the NFL?

Bridgewater isn't a duel threat QB? Your just looking at the stats. Bridgewater is more than capable of running around outside of the pocket but it's been reported numerous times that he does not want to become a run first guy and wants to be a pocket passer.

When compared to what other true dual threats in college do then no way...

tahj boyd didnt exactly play great once clemson took the 28-14 lead on fsu either. my only problem with boyd is theyll likely rate him like he's a top 10 runner from the qb position when he's nowhere close.

on ncaa 14 he probably should be the 3rd best senior qb behind mccarron and murray.

Manziel will be the top QB and Clowney will be the highest rated DE. Those are both a given. The fun stuff will be trying to decide who the best are at the other positions.

If I were rating players, Clowney would be the highest rated player on the game as a 96. Manziel would be next at either a 96 as well or a 95.

The best HB would be IMO, Ka'Deem Carey around a 93 or 94. EA will probably give him a 96 or 97 though.

Re: Who will be the top players at there position?

Here's why Teddy is a better QB than JM.

TB put up better numbers than JM despite two games where Louisville literally couldn't pass because of the weather. I don't know if you saw footage of Louisville at USM or FIU, but both games were played in constant torrential downpours. Both fields literally looked like sheets of water the ENTIRE game! Against one of them our team stood in literally above ankle deep water the whole game on the side lines, and he still beat JM.

Did you see the UConn or Rutgers games? Teddy was hurt in both of them. He had his wrist broken and a severely sprained ankle occur in the UConn game, thanks to a dirty play and a legit play. He went out and came back in and still managed to play better than most DIV I QBs against one of the better defenses in the country. He then goes to Rutgers and on that same half a leg, and broken wrist, manages to do the same thing and best Rutgers to get to our game against you guys, and throttle you after finally being half way healthy.

Plus Teddy doesn't have a 5* line blocking for him, or the best defensive players, or RBs, or WRs. All those guys have been coached up to compete with teams like Florida and win.

The Big East may have been a joke, but they always played quality defense, something that gets lost along the way.

Re: Who will be the top players at there position?

As someone who spends a lot of time "building rosters," I am surprised no one has talked about Johnny Football is almost impossible to rate because there is no rating for what he does on the field. There is no creativity, spontaneous, dynamic, or "didhejustdothat" rating. He is similar to what Tebow was for college football. Tebow was an average QB as far as QB skills go, but what he did on the field could never be reproduced through ratings and I feel Manziel is in the same boat.

I am curious how Manziel will do this year without all the talent he lost in front of and around him. I think he will be good, but I do expect a drop off in his production.

We would get to see who was the better QB this year in a head to head match up, but Texas A&M refused to play Louisville this season.
