They're not supposed to recognize that. That's the cause of all their legal problems right now.

Given their troubles, I'd guess the rosters will be less accurate than in prior years.

IMO, he's the most overrated quarterback in college football, but that doesn't matter.

You don't seem to understand that EA doesn't give a **** what they do on the field, or how they play. You really think EA watches every game of every team to see how good they really are?

There's like 100 players who are rated in the 90s whenever the rosters come out.

Again, they don't give a ****.
Yup they are kinda just like alot fans on here who think there team/players should all be in the 90's

Braxton Miller is one I've seen in here an one that comes to mind for this year. He nears 90th something in passing stats.

Stats are not everything but dang they gotta mean something especially when they want rate a Qb that high who can't even pass the 50's in passing stats.

You are entitle to your opinion, but saying McCarron is the THE most overrated qb in college football doesn't make sense.

24-2 as a starter
Back to Back National Championships
175.3 QB rating for 2012 (#1 in the nation)
49 career TD's against 8 int's

....and it's not slowing down for 2013, as Alabama has perhaps the deepest and best WR corp in school history.

That being said, I expect EA to rate Manziel & Bridgewater higher than McCarron in the game, and that's ok with me, 'cause it's just a game.

McCarron is a good Qb that runs what is asked of him very well. He does however benefit from the best of everything when it comes to his team.

Bruising effective run game, great O-line, an a defense that shuts down just about anybody so they don't have to play from behind often if at all. I mean what more can a Qb ask for?

If he was on another team there is no telling how good he would be. But he still a top Qb an has proven he can be more than a game manager when needed.

I agree, he doesn't get enough credit because of what surrounds him. I think there is more skepticism these days around QBs putting up good numbers at Super Schools because they rarely pan out in the NFL.

I don't know what his rating will be, but Taylor Martinez is bound for a big year this year.

People outta remember out of the whole World there are only 32 guys who can start in the NFL at Qb. I mean out of the hundreds or thousands that come out of college most will never pan out or start. It's just the ones at big schools who take most of the skepticism because they are the easiest to notice

Re: Who will be the top players at there position?

My point is more that the super schools should have more success with QBs in the NFL because their QBs are more highly rated, and they're already playing for and against more NFL players.

The odd thing is, it seems to be just the opposite. The QBs from smaller schools seem to succeed more, which I believe could be attributed to the fact that they face more adversity and are therefor more acclimated to the struggles on being on a bad team in the NFL. After all, they've been on "bad" teams throughout college, where it has been on their shoulders to make the offense work. It helps them to develop mental toughness that isn't necessarily cultivated when you have all star skill players and line men supporting you at every inch of the way.
