Make a better product. Don't tell people one thing about your product and do another.

It's one thing if you're offering a free service, but it's not. It's a game that people pay good money for. Nobody wants to buy a game that they play for 2 weeks and try to look past the bugs/issues and then finally cant. Especially when there's other games out there for the same price that have a shelf life of several months.

the one time EA finally openly, and honestly admitted their shortcomings was right before NCAA 11, they then made a good game and got people excited again, and then next year they went right back to their usual mess

I think the former is warranted given EAs track record.

I only point out the worst company award to show that EA has earned a bad reputation with everybody (it isn't just a trend on OS). It's customers/consumers everywhere in all genre's that think the company is slimy.

I also think you overvalue EAs participation/presence on the forums. They had a major presence back in 2009...did it result in a better game/product?
Again worst company award is irrelevant to this conversation, and has nothing to do with the devs or GC's. It's a moot point.

Being hostile is warranted? You find that to be productive as well? You think that's how we as a community should represent ourselves? Being overly criticial or cynical is a good thing in your opinion?

did it result in a better product? Not sure, not sure of the impact if there was any at all. It's impossible to say. But you think we're better off with zero interaction with devs and GC's? That's a positive move in your opinion? If that's the case, then why are we having this thread asking where they are?

I don't disagree with your sentiment, but there's nothing you can say that can justify some of the behavior and venom that was spewed here. Nothing. I'd like to think we are somewhat civilized. Wouldn't you?

Criticism as it's warranted, I have zero problem with.

You just joined last month, how do you know what their presence was like in 2009?

Yeah BK. EA has never made a mistake, ever.

Right.

Where did I say anything of that nature? I am not even sure as to what point you are trying to make.

How many times in just this thread, have I said EA has certainly deserved criticism? 4, 5, 6 times? Just in this thread. Do you even read my posts before you attempt to take a shot at me?

Read first, then respond. It will help this conversation go much smoother, but at this point, all you've managed to accomplish is to derail what's been a very civil conversation with your nonsense.

Come on Jared, no need for pot shots, just read his posts in this thread, here's one as an example:

Re: Where are all the Gamechangers at?

My bad, can't get over my beef, shouldn't have posted.

Anyway. I guess I don't have a real great idea of what the GC program was meant to accomplish, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't most of them ranked match guys? Do GCs go there and test dynasty mode or do they just hit the sticks against each other and see if certain stuff still works too much?
