Just had a really good game with the latest changes. The +2 to CPU pass blocking didn’t play a huge role as I was able to get 5 sacks, but none felt cheap. The +1 to interceptions also seemed to make pass coverage just a hair better to where I saw defensive backs knocking the ball away rather than go for the pick and whiff leading to extra yardage. I just need to find a way to defend passes in the middle of the field better. CPU had guys wide open in the second half no matter what my defense was doing.

If you are in zone try shading the defenders to the bottom of the zone in medium distances, play sticks (L1 on PS5) on third and long, then even if they get an underneath receiver you can make a play short the the first down.

Two more games, good variety here 1 defensive battle one with some offense

K-State 19 BYU 13
Another good defensive battle that came down to a late pick inside the K-State 5 by Retzlaff, brutal finish as they just ran out the clock. We did hold them to 4 field goals but the single TD was the difference.

Finally put a 4 quarter offensive performance together and that includes being stopped on 4th and goal inside the 1. BYU led the whole way and Baylor never got closer than 7 as we dominated TOP.

The only thing I might touch at this point is CPU run blocking, the CPU does get some chunk plays but a lot of stuffs. Current record 4-1 (1-1)

AZ or anyone else for that matter, do you guys use the defensive adjustments with the R3 button? If I’m getting beat on certain pass plays I’ll mix it up and try matching up speed/overall/route running etc.

I 100% do, change shells, press, play over the top, shade top and bottom of the zones depending on down and distance, shift the line, fake blitz, sticks etc. Sometimes I play the game like I am still coaching LOL.

Bumped up CPU run blocking to 76, this looks better now. The only thing i feel is missing is some of the "wide open" play that existed pre-patch. Rather than getting slider-itis to try and capture this I am going to focus on speed parity which will create some separation at lower values and bring back some explosive plays.

I will be testing between 36 and 48 to try and get that balance.

I was using it at 0 since the game came out until I switched to this set. The separation at 0 was great, especially for the really fast guys, but there were way too many big plays. Almost every drive was 3 plays ending with a 60+ yard TD. It became unfun after a while.

yeah I saw the same when using a lower range when I put these together, so I am not going to get too crazy on this
