AZYankees Really Old Guy Varsity Sliders

So the ghosts of old slider sets definitely linger when you change to a new set. These were unplayable for me after the patch so I switched to the AA ratings matter set. I closed my dynasty but did not restart the console. Those felt great that night. Wasn't able to play all week. Fired it up last night and those were too constricted for me. I put yours back in last night before I shut it off.

No pressure just curious, do you think you'll be updating your set after any future patches?

Maybe there really is some truth to deleting your game profile and causing the game to “reset”?

Only thing I noticed with resetting everything (profile, new dynasty)was the ratings being better which is why I use the xp sliders. I've noticed this in the past where if I Input a new slider set it seems to mesh with the old values until i restart the console. Like ghosts from the old set are still part of the new values until the game gets powered down.. But now I've determined that when changing sets I need to restart the console. It may only need to close the game, but I just restart the console to be sure.

It's not placebo, I couldn't pass for crap last night. Put in these sliders before shutting down, fired it up today and it plays how I'd expect. I feel it's more the difficulty tab not changing until a games restarted. That tab seems to override what's in the dynasty settings too. I changed from this set (varsity) to the ratings matter set (all american) last week and it was more.like I was playing those sliders on varsity level. Then when I started up last night it was saved and loaded up as all american. Tighter gameplay etc.

I will have a WIP set up today, I think the lower speed is important to having a more realistic experience, just honing in the things that lower speed affects now, QB accuracy due to speed of pass rush, coverage etc. Run game has continued to be fairly solid, just getting passing game dialed in now.

WIP Post 10/24/24 Patch

Here is the WIP at the reduced speed threshold post the last patch.
Liking so far - Good mix of explosive plays and tight defense, plays a nit more wide open like modern College ball and plays close to ratings. Big changes from OP set is the reduction in pass coverage and tweaks to QB accuracy, pass pro and coverage, all of which are impacted by the lower speed threshold.
Needs more testing - Human run blocking may need to be lower more and CPU raised to get YPC in line, but sample size not yet big enough. (Changes from OP set are in parenthesis)

Quarter Length: 11 Minutes or 7 minutes (I am using 7 min no accelerated clock right now, 125-135 plays a game on average.

WR Catching: 44 (-7) Still seeing great catches, but now more drops
Run Blocking: 23 (-3) may go 1 or 2 ticks lower.

Reaction Time: 50 (-6) due to higher coverage
Interceptions: 12
Pass Coverage: 58 (+10) fix man coverage with lower speed threshold

Same. I'm anxious to try these out and get back to my season. The patches really derail my momentum lol

Has anyone messed around much with the reticle speed slider? With classic passing we don’t have that meter on the screen so I was curious if it even matters for us. And if it does matter does a higher or lower setting make passes any more accurate without having to adjust the accuracy slider?
