Re: Will App. State help NCAA 09?

But...they're NOT a D2 school. Even before this year, they weren't D2. They were I-AA or "One-Double-A" as most people called it.

I don't get why you ever would've gotten used to referring to that league as "D2" when it never was "D2" to begin with.

This is one of the reasons I have only posted here a few times since joining in 2003. I do not understand why people have to correct even the smallest error that you make or criticize other's opinions. I get what you are saying, I should have called them exactly what they were so I would not confuse anyone. In my crazy mind they are a D2 team, and Michigan is a D1 team. Sorry to confuse anyone.

I'd love if they would put 1-AA teams in next year's game if you could use them in dynasty mode. I'd be using Appalachian State!

Regardless of the App. State game, the i-aa teams should be in...It is just not excusable to not be able to play a team's REAL full schedule.

that's fine, since you obviously don't watch or know much about the lower levels of college football. There's nothing wrong with that, especially since you aren't the only person that associates d1AA teams as D2. I myself graduated from a D1AA school, and liked the playoff format, and find it annoying that people still don't know the difference between D1AA and D2. They made the change to make it less confusing for some people I guess.
