The demo went Silver just today! So get on Marketplace and download it now, buddy!

I'm in the same boat as you with no Gold membership. Gold guys got it a week earlier, but we Silver guys cam get the demo now.

My download is at 51% right now. Download speeds depend on the speed of your connection, so it could take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours.

No, you get a free silver forever. You used to get a free 30-day gold subscription when you signed up. Not that it matters now that it's open to silvers.
