Without knowing whom the TB teams are replacing, no such guide can exist.

Re: Brendan's Conference Realignment Guide

This has been insanely handy whenever I've had to set up a dynasty. Thank you for this.

Re: Brendan's Conference Realignment Guide

For UConn, you mean? The trouble is, moving them to independent leaves the American without a CCG.

So what? UConn will be Independent. We don’t know what the AAC will do.

We do, though. They're staying put at 11 for now. Since the Big 12 got their waiver to have a championship game, there's no real incentive to get to 12.

I find it amusing that the OS icon for NAU is 20 years (and three rebrands!) out of date.

The Big 12 didn't get a waiver, the NCAA changed the rule. The change to the rule allows conferences with less that 12 teams to hold a conference championship game under the following conditions:
  1. (Big 12)A conference that is not split into divisions must have a round robin regular season conference schedule (Each team in the conference plays each other) with the two best teams meeting in the conference championship game.
  2. (Sun Belt) A conference that is split into divisions must have a round robin regular season conference schedule for each division, with the two division winners meeting in the championship game.

I will expect the AAC to maintain their divisions if they don't replace UConn and follow the Sun Belt model to hold their championship game. The Big 12 model would require each of their teams to play 10 conference games.

In "the game", we cannot have conferences with less than 12 teams to get split into divisions. I believe this is hard coded into the executable. This game has not aged well.

Re: Brendan's Conference Realignment Guide

hey guys had a question. What’s the ideal plan for conferences alignment since we can’t get the updated rosters for some team builder teams (app state, GS, Charlotte). What is everyone thinking of doing for dynasty? Leave C-USA with 13 teams? Move Idaho to the sunbelt or leave them in the independents with UMass and NMSU. Any opinion would help. Cheers.
