FIFA 17 Impressions From The Community

I picked FIFA 17 up late because I was getting my soccer fix elsewhere but I enjoyed it when I first played it. A few patches later and I'm back to having the same issues as previous versions.

Playing against the CPU I'm back to being unable to get the ball off of them. They can read my mind and pass the ball a millisecond before I try to tackle them. Also, once they get on top they play a higher pressure game and my guys start making mistakes for no reason whatsoever. Seems like the only way to counter it is to go high pressure.

Like I said, I enjoyed it when I first loaded it up but now the CPU is as frustrating to play against as it was last year.

I'm a career mode player. I wasn't able to complete a season in career mode FIFA 15 and 16 playing on PS3. Career mode wasn't interesting on PS3. I'm about to make the move to PS4, is FIFA 17 worth it on PS4? It's either FIFA or NBA 2k17

if you want a more in depth career/manager mode, then go with 2K in all honesty.

What do you think about the new fifa, which came out recently? It's an improvement (at least over FIFA 15 & 16) but has a ton left to be desired

Having a hard time trusting 2k with all the servers issues. Having to spend virtual coin just to get your player accessories is disappointing. But manager mode in FIFA has been very disappointing for me since FIFA 07

I pretty much stick with MyLeague in 2K and the depth is unmatched. The ability to even change your uniforms year to year is an awesome inclusion I wish they had in FIFA

FIFA 17 is on sale for about 40 euros (around 42 USD) in the EU Playstation Store (or at least in Finland). Is it worth it for someone like me, who is mainly an offline player? I've also really enjoyed PES this year, but am intrigued by FIFA. Those of you who have played/own both, how do the two compare now, after a couple of months?
