We had a goal of obtaining 12 of the possible 12 points by winning all 4 of the league matches. We were able to grab 10 of the 12 and go unbeaten. Man United remains 1pt back, Spurs 5 back and City 7 back.

We wanted to keep a clean sheet against Bayern in the home leg of our UCL Rof16 match but we were not able to as a Gotze header put Bayern up 1-0 and got them a crucial away goal. Sanchez equalized later on.

Race for the Golden Boot
Rooney 13 (United)
Bale 12 (Arsenal)
Cavani 12 (City)
Kane 11 (Spurs)
Deulofeu 11 (Everton)

Next 5 Matches

@ Bayern (UCL Rof16)
@ West Brom
Venezuela (World Cup Qualifiers)
@ Brasil (World Cup Qualifiers)

We finish out the month of March with 2 league games that we should win and grab all 6 points available. When we comeback in April there will be 7 league games left with matches against United, City, Liverpool, Spurs.

We have to score a goal in Germany against Bayern to have any chance of advancing. A 1-0 win would see us advance, a 1-1 draw would see us go to extra time, a 2-2 or any draw greater than 1-1 would see us go trough on away goals, all other results would be whoever wins goes through.

We have 2 very important World Cup qualifiers coming up with Peru. We currently sit 6 points back of Ecuador who sit in the 5th and final qualification spot. We will look to beat Venezuela at home and try to sneak a point away on the road against 5 time world cup winners Brasil. So we will have a goal of capturing 4 of the possible 6 points.

I didn't suggest that because I figured he still wanted the game to be challenging.

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?

Just hit the January Window in YR2 with Everton after finishing 3rd last year.

In the summer window brought in Lacazette, Laporte, Andros Townsend, Correlin Tolisso, and Sergie Darder. Sold off Lukaku to Bayern and Saul to Spurs.

The game has a sense of humor as they drew me into a UCL group with

Bayern (Lukaku)
Bilibao
PAOK

Came out firing on all cylinders in the league, 5 or 6 unbeaten to start the league before we lost to Stoke and Newcastle lol. Lacazette was in form and Lucas was putting in MoTM performances frequently. Then hit a rough spell which saw us draw away to PAOK and lose at home to Bilbao in the UCL before righting it with 2 consecutive wins vs Bayern. Away to Bayern we put on a classic away UCL performance that would make Mourinho ecstatic. Sat deep, defended, and hit them on the counter for 2 goals. After seeming safe in the group we drew again vs PAOK and had to go to Bilbao and get a result in order to advance. We ended up with a 0-2 win with Lucas tormenting their LB Balengzia.

After that we pulled together some decent performances in the league and have been in 1st with Chelsea right on our tail. We did get bounced in the quarters of the League Cup by United who finally decided to play a full strength lineup against my Cup lineup of kids and fringe 1st team players.

Heading into January we have ~14 mil to spend unless we get some offers. We don't need much as every position has sufficient cover:

ST - Berahino & Kevin Augustine
Wingers - Lennon & Townsend
CM/CDMs - Barry, McCarthy, Cleverly, Gueye, Darder
LB - Garbutt/Oveido
RB - Holding/Browning
CB - Jagielka, Diop, Funes Mori

We did receive and accept an offer from Palace for Darder who has yet to impress. It was around 24mil but I don't know if he's going to accept their terms. Ideally I'd like to sell him, pocket the cash and try to bring Saul back after Spurs refuse to give him any time.

Our big splash was signing Isco on a pre-contract from Real. Barkley has been good for us BUT he's made rumblings about his game time and he's constantly in "Threatened" mode. Isco gives us cover there as well as a creative player who can play CAM, CM, and even RM in a pinch.

After topping the group we drew Villarreal in the round of 32. A very favorable matchup for us but as you can see with PAOK, we can't take them lightly.

Lastly, we're going to be letting quite a few players go when their contracts run out:

Jagielka (declining rapidly and IRL too)
Barry
McGeady
Darren Gibson
Lennon
Some younger players

We were able to grab 11 of the possible 15 points available to us in our last 5 league matches and its been good enough to put us 3 points clear of bitter rivals Spurs for the title with only 4 games to go.

In the Champions league we went to Germany and got a 1-0 result and went through 2-1. We drew Real Madrid in the round of 8. We lost 2-0 in Madrid and we were able to bounce back at home 3-0 and advance 3-2. Varane, Ozil & Bale all scoring against their former club.

With Peru we finished level with Venezuela, which was a devastating 2 points droped. After the game I was 8 points back with 7 games remaining and in the same exact spot I was in when I took the job 3 games ago, I quickly resigned. Mexico has already offered me.

We have a 3 point advantage over Spurs for the league title with 4 games to go, and we play Spurs on the final match day at home so we will look to grab 7 of the 9 points available to us before we play Spurs and hopefully we will put the tiltle race away before the final day.

We have PSG in the Semi-Final and at this stage, anything is possible. We have beaten Bayern & Madrid so we know we are capable. Barcelona won their home leg 2-1 against Valencia.

From my CM as Spurs, hit this prayer in stoppage time after Chelsea's keeper came too far out on a corner to punch the ball away.

Our defense was horrible over the last 5 games giving up 12 goals, it was the first time since being at Arsenal that we have had a streak with a negative goal differential. We are now level with Spurs going into the final match day with a 4 goal advantage on differential.

Our trip to Paris was a complete disaster. That team in my opinion is the best in Europe. A front 3 of Coutinho, Suarez, Di Maria is so lethal. We won the home leg but it wasn't nearly enough.

Race for the Golden Boot
Bale 17 (Arsenal)
Cavani 16 (City)
Rooney 15 (United)

Results around Europe
Villarreal won the Europa League over Bestikas
Man United beat West Ham to win the FA Cup
Barcelona beat Valencia in the Champions League semi-final and will face PSG in the final.

The Biggest North London Derby Of All Time
The 2017 Premier League title is up for grabs on the final match day in what will go down as the biggest North London Derby of all time and the biggest game yet at the new Emirates stadium.

Spurs haven't won the title since 1961 and they will need a victory to win the title, no other result will matter besides a win.

Arsenal have not won the league since 04 and if they can avoid defeat they will be Champions.

Arsenal vs Spurs
