I know it's usually some of the last stuff we learn, but I hope we finally get the Chinese Super League this year. It will lessen the sting of losing Russia, and the likes of Zenit, CSKA, Spartak, etc... Maybe we could get the Ukrainian league as as a replacement in Eastern Europe

Are they going to include the qualifying rounds or the group stage only? What about the teams, are they all going to be licensed?

Has EA confirmed that the Russian Premier League won't be in FIFA 19? KONAMI may have the rights to the licensing for PES, but it could be like the Italian Serie A and B situation, where EA can use the team names and player likenesses, but don't have the rights to the leagues name (i.e. FIFA fans have been forced to accept that Serie A and B have been called Calcio A and B the last couple of years).
On a side note: I read in an article here, that EA may have obtained the full Serie A / B license this year - not sure if I saw this posted on OS?

If EA is going for the authentic Champions League / Euro League experience that they seem to be touting here then one would assume that all the teams that are already qualified for the group stages will be in FIFA 19. If we exclude teams in the major leagues that were in FIFA 18, then these teams should be included:
  • Lokomotiv Moscow (CL)
  • Shakhtar Donetsk (CL)
  • CSKA Moscow (CL)
  • Viktoria Plzeň (CL)
  • Krasnodar (EL)
  • Vorskla Poltava (EL)
  • Jablonec (EL)

EA made some Champions League games for the 04-05 and 06-07 seasons and they were both really good, hopefully they use it well in FIFA 19

Konami have explicitly stated Russian Premier League is exclusive to PES. I should say I don't know what that means exactly. I suppose it's possible, like you said, that the RPL isn't a single entity license, and the licensing just applies to the league branding itself and not the clubs.

Why is NBA Live being released 3 weeks ahead of FIFA when basketball season doesn't start until late October and soccer season starts in August? *These release dates are getting ridiculous.

It’s even 10 days after Match day 1 of the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. Haha
