I know nothing about soccer. Would you recommend this game?

The lower leagues aren't represented that well overall. For example, in the Championship the top 2 are automatically promoted with the 3rd spot being decided by a playoff. In '09 that wasn't the case. The 3rd placed squad was promoted too. I'm not sure if that is the case in '10.

That's what I heard after 09 release as well, but lo and behold, after simming April & May in my Forest MM I found myself in third place and the promotion playoffs... couldn't believe what I was seeing. I'm still wary of typing it here, but I saw it with my own eyes... and I'm pretty sure I wasn't under the influence of any hallucinogens at the time.

FTR, I was top of the table with games in hand when I started simming. I was just going to sim to the next year to play in the PL because I was bored with the Championship after 35 or so games (man that's a long season!). I couldn't believe it when the playoff icon appeared on the match day calender.

I know people were saying it wasn't in the game, but my guess is it only appears on the calender if it applies to your team. Or I'm a big fat liar... no, don't worry, only a Chelski fan would do that!
