hooligan I'm attempting some tests now. You are correct in that the player does have a wage budget. And I was able to successfully acquire two transfers. I was partly hoping that afterwards it would correct the glitch, but alas I'm still in debt. Its the same exact figure, which leads me to believe that no matter what the amount will never change.

Next I will try to sell a few players and see if anything happens (doubt it). After that I will sim to the end of the season and attempt to resign my players. Off the top of my head I believe we can. But I'll post the results

I was hoping that the OS community could use its clout to get to the bottom of this. Perhaps an editor should run an article on it, alerting of the glitch and discussing whether EA is likely to do anything.

It may not accomplish anything, or maybe all the complaining and bad press forces EA to take action. Either way, it certainly can not hurt to express displeasure.

I'll be interested to follow the tests on this thread. The guy on Page 1 who said that he encountered the budget glitch without even changing teams really scares me, because that could lead to it being broken even if you stick with one squad.

Not sure I fully understand the "positive" budget glitch. Even if it gives you too much money, that's still a problem.
