American (70% Italian, 30% Irish) but born in Africa.

Grew up all over the world and because of work still spend a good 7 months of the year somewhere out of the States.

Folks, soccer is insane out here! Mind you I still love my football, basketball and baseball but soccer is just beautiful.

I think the US is catching up very fast with the sport especially at high school and varsity levels. Give it a few years folks, I see it in the top 3.

That said, I follow all the major European games and tournaments that are televised here in the U.S.A. The TV coverage of soccer in America has improved leaps and bounds in the last 5 to 10 years.
