Its not that bad, Its certainly watchable. Its about the same level as the championship or league 1 and there is nothign wrong with that. You should support your local teams!

Yup, support your local club. Its fun. We only had D2 soccer in Portland for years and built one of the best supporters groups in North America during that time. I didn't catch on until the end because I had the attitude that lower level soccer wasn't worth my time and was going to hold out until MLS. When it dawned on me that all the tradition of the old team would carry on even though it wasn't a "promotion" in the typical sense I broke down and went and realized its about as much the civic pride and loving a team through thick and thin than it is about being the best. Even though our team stinks this year I wouldn't miss a moment due to all the friendships I make through supporting the team.

Exactly, The Irish League is ****e but I still support my local team in it. It's not about the quality of football it's about the connection you have with a team, you can only really get that connection with a local team. For example, I watch the NFL and support the Redskins and while I am a big fan I wouldn't have the same connection with them that I would with my local teams.

Its also strange that you have 'Don't be a frontrunner, support your local teams!' in you sig but then don't support your local team

Theres no comparison for my love to football and hockey but ill take soccer any day over basketball and baseball. one dream of mine is to attend a Barclays Premiere League game OR i want to go to West Ham and sing "Blowing bubbles" with them haha.
YES to West Ham! I've just recently started really getting into European soccer the past year or so, but I've always been a West Ham fan, I think because they sing blowing bubbles and since I saw Green Street Hooligans. haha Pumped that they were promoted!

haha, I just didn't want to jump in and follow a club that's always at the top of the premier league table. I live outside of Boston, so I feel like I should support Liverpool since the Redsox owners now own the team, so I suppose next season I'll root for them and West Ham. My brother likes Chelsea, not sure why
