How's your FIFA 13 career mode going?

Season has started. One of my Strikers from the US turned 16. He's started at a nice 68 overall.

I beat York City 5-0 in Round 1 of the Capital One Cup. I play Hartlepool for Round 2.

I was offered the India National team job but declined.

After a couple of lethargic preseason games (simulated) played by the younger players on the squad, I faced a tough matchup against Spurs in the Community Shield match. However, A decisive 3-1 victory for the reigning champions sprung the 2019/20 Liverpool season into action.

2019/20 Liverpool Season
3-0-0

A lot of added depth and the unforeseen departure of a talented striker was the story for Liverpool in this first transfer window of the season. The addition of Adryan from Flamengo for $18.5M and departure of Yesil to Valencia for $24M were the high dollar transactions made by Liverpool. Overall, the club turnover was a bit surprising considering last seasons success. Including Yesil, 8 players were sold to other clubs and only 5 players were brought in via transfer.

Kucka (79) CB
Gulacsi (73) GK

New Transfers

Ramos da Silva was brought in after the Yesil sale to round out the trio of quick and accurate strikers. I'm relying on more experienced players for my defensive positions an mixing in other players called up from my youth squad. All of these players have potential greater than 85OVR

Youth Squad Call-Ups
Di Matteo (72) CM
Semioli (71) ST
Parrela (71) CAM
Nunez (71) RM
Rocha (65) LM
Albadoro (62) GK

All of these players saw the pitch in the Capital One Cup opener against Charlton. They came away with a very impressive 5-1 victory highlighted by 3 goals from Parrela and a diving stop by Albadoro on a penalty kick. I hope to showcase these players more and interest other clubs into taking them on loan in the mid-season window.

Up next is the 4th BPL game of the season against Norwich, and then the Champions League opener against Ajax. This will be my first Champions League game as a manger, 8 years into my career. Some might think that sounds crazy, but it's been pretty cool waiting to get to this point.

(Next update after mid-season transfer window.)

Re: How's your FIFA 13 career mode going?

Just beat Portsmouth in my first game in npower league 1. Ended up finishing 2nd in league 2 (as Bradford City) I want to have a good season this year so I can hopefully get a Premier league team to offer me a job next year

Re: How's your FIFA 13 career mode going?

I was about halfway through my second season with Getafe CF sitting on top of the table and then I got offered the manager position at PSG! I had to jump at the opportunity. My plan is to strip down the aging roster and bring young talent using the enormous cap that Paris Saint-Germain boasts. I did save beforehand so I can continue with my Getafe career though, as I am thoroughly enjoying the competition of playing in La Liga.

My Getafe team is in for a rough stretch though as my top 3 players, Jose Callejon, Clint Dempsey, and Xavi Torres are all injured for at least 6 weeks and our next two fixtures are Real Madrid and FC Barcelona...

It's me again.. Well I sold Santi Cazorla to Man City. And with the money I bought Kevin-Prince Boateng but he got injured. Then I sold Wilshere. ( Bad transfer in my opinion.) Now 3rd in the leauge. Liverpool are first.
