I love picking up Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon... found him in FIFA 13 and he is sensational. Great pace, decent movement, plus a really good finisher. Always want to have him in my teams.

Got him at Southampton, him and Lallana gelled incredibly well and got us with a goal of the Champions League (Tottenham, Arsenal, and Liverpool all under-performed and we finished 5th behind City, United, Chelsea, and Everton!)

I like his teammate, Benzia. Good young striker.

lately, I find myself signing Bruma (Portuguese LW). Usually snatch him for under 12 mil, and he grows quite quickly.

Also, almost always try to get Lewandowski on Bosman every career mode, if I can afford his wages.

Haven't seen this one yet:

David Alaba, LB.

I'm in my sixth year, and he's a 90. Absolute beast from the back. I had him playing along the left win with Ronaldo, and they were near unstoppable. He has great pace and ability to shoot from outside the box. A lefty, too, so that's another added dimension.

I also tend to pick up Aaron Johannsson, whom I have grown into an 81 striker. I have a bias toward Americans, and he's a great rotation striker for League Cup/European competition.

This thread is a great idea. Here's some players I recommend:

* Meyer; CAM; 73; Schalke (He's only 17 and is a great #10 to develop a team around; develops into someone like Christian Eriksen at Spurs);

* Muriel; ST; 76; Udinese (One of my favorite players to control - great combo of skill, dribbling, speed, and finishing);

* Willems; LB; 72; PSV (Lots of fun to control; usually I don't like short defenders but his jumping ability is fantastic; awesome weak foot and skills)

* Musa; ST; 76; CSKA Moscow (Awesome player despite his size; his speed destroys defenses);

* Zouma; CB; 74; Saint-Etienne (Maybe best CB in game; even at 74 he outplayed guys ranked in 80s);
