Is the contract glitch still present on youth players? Like if you sign them in april or may, does their contract say -1 years left on the contracts screen?

I haven't tried signing a prospect to a shorter contract than they've requested. Also, there isn't any point in signing a prospect to a 1 year contract because you won't be able to see their potential status. It'll just say "12 months left on their contract".

That's not really what I was talking about though. I always sign my prospects to at least a 3 year contract. In last years game, the glitch would happen if I signed them in april or may. I signed them to 3 year contracts, but in the contract screen it would say -1 (negative 1) year left on contract. And I wasn't allowed to resign them cause they recently signed the first contract. So at the end of the year they would become free agents. Hope you understand now that I explained a bit more. Is that glitch still present?

I know what you were referring to, and that glitch only showed up if you were signing a player to a contract length shorter than what they asked for. As I said before, I haven't seen it this year because I've only signed players to either the length of contract they asked for or longer.

Oh ok. Let's see if I understand you correctly now. So if they asked for 4 years and I only gave them 3, that glitch would happen? I guess I never paid attention to that cause I would always just give them 3 years. Unless they had potential 90-94, then I would give them at least 4 years
