Fifa 14 Youth Academy and Player Growth

I don't have the game yet, but I will on Friday. Once you sign the youth players to your senior squad, do they ask for higher contracts 2-3 times a season for the first couple of years? Even though you already gave them more money that season? Most of my GOOD 17-19 year olds did that last year. Is that still happening or is it better in 14?

Contracts don't change much. They might ask for a slight pay but nothing too drastic which is awesome. The youth system is the best yet. Players don't grow too fast and grow steadily.

Has anyone been able to find a single 5/5 star scout yet? I'm in December of my first season and not a single one has come up yet, and it's starting to piss me off. In 13 I usually have all three by mid September at the latest. I wish they'd just let me pick how many stars I want and get rid of all this stupid monotony.

Oh dude, just sim it...every Saturday, you'll be given new options for scouts. Just sim until the following Saturday until you find a 5 * scout. Rinse-n-repeat and you'll have three in no time.

I've been doing that (Playing the games as they come up), but no dice. I've checked every single week except for a single international break (Because I wasn't paying attention, too used to having a thousand interruptions) and haven't come across a single 5/5 scout...

Maybe it's because I'm playing as Barca?

Yes. Same amount as last year.
