In career mode it is downright ridiculous. I hope having the disc fixes this issue.

Playing the PC version now. Menus are MUCH faster than on my ps3.

Yeah I really wish sony would let you install games to the HDD like 360 does. This is my first year with a PS3 after changing over from 360 cause I was sick of my 360 dying twice a year...noticed that Madden menus were slower than I've ever experienced playing off the 360 harddrive. Does buying off PSN fix this cause I might do that for Fifa.

I'm noticing this, too, more than previous years certainly.

When I'm scrolling through menus, the lag is pretty tedious. E.g. - Changing my squad, formations, etc.

there is talk of this problem over on the EA forums. especially in career mode. many people are saying career mode is damn near unplayable because the menus are lagging so bad.

Yup. It's absolutely horrible in career mode. Makes trying to scout players and all that painful. Also took me like two minutes just to swap out two players in the team management screen.

Are you having this issue on PC as well? I've assumed you're a PC user.

I'm downloading the demo on PC just to see how it feels...
