I haven't been able to keep up with all your videos but watched this one and saw you got Pjanic and Roberto! Two class midfielders that are bringing your team to the next level. Sure the prices were a bit hefty but I'm confident they'll repay every penny and Sergi "fine head of hair" Roberto is already on his way to doing that. You dominated your two opening games but my God, Lacazette's finishing was awful. Dybala showed him how to do it and the gave a great cross to Roberto so he could use his "great head of hair" and score. Great to see Masana get his first goal for the club.

Imo I'd go for Rondon as your backup, he's a proper beast up front and has Prem experience which is invaluable. Slightly older too which is also nice considering Lacazette and Dybala are still young.

VfB Stuttgart Aspire Promotion Back to the Bundesliga

Not too long ago in 2007, VfB Stuttgart celebrated winning the Bundesliga. Instead of becoming a title-challenger as optimistic fans hoped, the following nine years turned slowly into a nightmare and an endless fall from grace. The team still managed to qualify for European competitions a handful of times in those years, but since 2012 nothing has gone their way. Starting from that season, Stuttgart failed to finish in the top eleven of the league every single time and finally, on the final matchday of last season, the team got relegated into the Bundesliga 2 after a turmoil in management in the last years, including the resignation of club president Berndt Wahler and the sacking of coach Jürgen Krammy after relegation was confirmed.

This turmoil is still going on as the club still hasn't announced a new president or a director of sports. However, the board of VfB Stuttgart announced a new head coach and the man who will take charge of Stuttgart is their reserve team coach Simon Müller. The appointment leaves a lot to be desired for amongst supporters since the reserve side got relegated under the command of the 42-year-old last season. According to the local press, Müller signed a one-year contract.

The Stuttgart native has been part of the club for three decades as Müller used to go to every home game as a child with his father. He witnessed the team lift the Bundesliga trophy twice, first in 1984 and then in 1992, a year before joining the team's reserve team. Unfortunately for him, Müller's career never took off and he spent the majority of it playing in the lower leagues before his career came to a shocking end due to a horrendous knee injury in 2001. He never lost his love his football, though, and in 2005 he got a job at the football club he had always loved as a U15 coach. In the following ten years Müller rose through the ranks all the way to the head coach position which he was appointed as a week ago.

"Since I can remember, Stuttgart has been part of my life. I loved the club as a child and a supporter, I loved it as an adult and a player, and I still love it as a coach. I know the last few years have been rough for both me and the club and that is why I ask everyone to stay strong and have just a little bit more of patience. This club deserves to play top football and we strongly believe that we will play top football again soon. Our only target for this season is to achieve promotion back to the Bundesliga where we belong, and we can do that only with your help. We are beginning a long process towards the Bundesliga title, but together we can do it. We need your support, and only together we can make it back to the top", Müller wrote on the club's website after his appointment.

Timo Werner, 19 years old, 74 ovr
Jan Kliment, 22 years old, 68 ovr

Key Players

Serey Die

The defensive midfielder is a strong presence in defence and he is expected to be Stuttgart's key defensive player after a horrendous defensive performance by the team last season which lead to them conceding 75 goals. The 30-year-old Ivorian is a strong tackler and he has a strong shot as witnessed by Hertha BSC last season.

Filip Kostic

One of Stuttgart's more exciting players is the 21-year-old winger Filip Kostic who was one of their best players during the disappointing campaign of last season. The pacy Serbian is a good dribbler and he adds a lot to the Stuttgart attack. It will be hard for Stuttgart to keep him in the second division.

Timo Werner

Timo Werner is one of Germany's brighest attacking talents. The striker/winger is known for his lightning-fast speed and good finishing abilities. The 19-year-old is a valuable asset in Stuttgart's attack and he has the potential to become a world-class star.

Here it is, the introduction post of the Stuttgart career as voted by you! I hope you enjoy my journey back to the top of Germany.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

THE LEAGUE

My thoughts

So many games! - It is just ridiculous. 7 games this month, followed by 7 (two international ones) next month. The squad is getting heavily rotated, which is a good thing obviously, with plenty of players getting minutes, yet, there are injuries involved with that.

League performances - So, I haven't beaten Aston Villa in this CM ever, 3 games, 3 losses, f-em. It is still really early days, so you can't really make a solid decision on how things will play out, but so far, we are doing pretty well. Not a lot of confidence, while playing, something is not right, but luckily, there is still time.

CL? - First game, a sad tie as Karius saved the shot into his first net. Second game, I thought Legia would be tougher, since they beat Villarreal in their first game, but a rotated squad gave them hell.

Injuries? - There have been a few short ones, with Lukaku missing some time and McCarthy aswell, but the biggest one game in the end of the month, as Barkley is out for 4 weeks with a sprained ankle.

Next Month? - Obviously, the next month will feature the first International games, so you will find out what team I picked!

League games, we will play both Manchester United and Crystal Palace away from home, and host the Merseyside derby at home.

Cup games, our third game in the Champions League will be against Villarreal at home, and there will also be a COC game against Bristol City, away from Goodison Park.

So, I hope you enjoyed it and take care!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Simp, I love Stuttgart, I don't know if you remember that I played with them aswell, and Maxim was a gem for me!

Keano, you are doing really well, I hope you can make the push to the next league, but I guess I will have to wait for that. I am really sorry if I missed it, but where are you heading? Also, Newport is struggling!

Moose, that 4-4-2 seems to be working for you, sigh. I don't even know where you could put Payet with that formation, I have no idea how Antonio played against Watford, since I didn't see him at all basically.

As for strikers, go really young imo (Solanke, Rashford) or a bit older, is Vardy still decent?

Rabbit, you are stepping up with Newport so quickly, you will be in Prem in no time! It seems like the tactics are working for you and the team you have built is working well together. I wish you the best of luck with Finland aswell!

Yeah we should definitely get an automatic promotion spot but I really want some silverware to me my first so we'll be going all out for the league. Rabbit has lost the plot!

I'm heading off to the Gaeltacht for three weeks. We have to speak all in Irish, no English allowed! It'll be good craic though.

Cruzerr - very good month, with that many games and still able to finish towards the top of the table is impressive. But seriously, Aston Villa? Do you owe them money or something?

I remember it well! Ibisevic did very well for you but then you decided to sell him if I recall correctly. After that he helped Hertha finish seventh last season :P

As far as your career goes, you had a good October, especially considering that the month was full of games. You don't seem to depend on Lukaku and Barkley that much anymore which is always a positive. Very good job so far this season, although I'm really starting to worry about your results against Aston Villa.

I will leave the rest of you some feedback in the next couple of days!
