August 2013

Sunderland 1 - 3 Fulham

Johnson 69'
Holtby 54', Bent 71', 90'

A beautiful start to the season! The boys performed really well on the opening day of the season. An away win is always important! The team played like a team, pressed well and scored a few goals. The super-sub Darren Bent scored two important goals, both by stealing the ball from the opposition after kickoff.

Fulham 2 - 1 Arsenal

Holtby 49', Dejagah 63'
Ramsey 11'

The match was amazing. We were superior compared to our city rival. Arsenal only had 3 shots while we had 11, maybe 12. It was expected for Arsenal to take the lead, but our boys did their best to bounce back! The match-winning goal was scored by our Iranese winger Ashkan Dejagah. It was a beautiful shot from outside the box right to the top right corner.

Fulham 2 - 0 West Bromwich Albion

Rodallega 11', 67'

In this game I decided to rest my better players and I decided to give a chance to some not so great players. The flop of the last season Hugo Rodallega showed his skills by netting us the win. (this game was simulated)

Newcastle 2 - 3 Fulham

Remy 14' (pen), Gosling 40'
Townsend 17', Bent 52', 61'

Once again an amazing result from our team! The guys have been playing like champions this year! Right now we are a serious contender for the European competitions. The only downside is that we have given away 3 penalties in 4 games. The supersub Bent scored again and he will probably become my first-choice striker since Mitroglou hasn't scored since the friendlys.

Crystal Palace 0 - 3 Fulham (Capital One Cup)

Duff 45', Dejagah 74', Holtby 83'

And again! The players had a great night! Especially Dejagah, who scored again from outside the box and assisted Holtby's rebound goal. The veteran Duff played also well getting a goal to his name. I'm really proud of our run of form.

Player of the Month: Lewis Holtby

3 goals and 4 assists in 5 games. What more can I say? Lewis has been dominating the attacking third and his goals and assists have been really important for us. We might even buy him at the end of his loan spell. For now I hope he continues to perform well.

Barclays Premier League

1. Fulham, 4 played, 12 pts
2. Chelsea, 3 played, 9 pts
3. Man United, 4 played, 9 pts
4. Tottenham, 4 played, 8 pts
5. Everton, 3 played, 7 pts
6. Man City, 3 played, 7 pts
---
---
18. Hull City, 3 played, 4 pts
19. Norwich, 4 played, 3 pts
20. Stoke City, 3 played, 3 pts

Some feedback will be appreciated!!!

You seem to be doing incredibly well for a team of Fulham's stature. If this form continues into January you should consider upping the difficulty

Currently playing on professional. Chose Wolves as I wanted to bring them back to the EPL, and they had a pretty decent squad for a League 1 side. Not a lot of money to work with but brought in a few decent players on loan + Bakkali, who has been massive for me so far, notching 3 goals in 4 appearances.

Results:

• League 1

Wolves 1-0 Walsall (Dicko)

Tranmere Rovers 0-3 Wolves (Bakkali x2, Henry)

Wolves 3-0 Oldham Athletic (Bakkali, Dicko, Sako)

• Capital One Cup

Wolves 3-0 MK Dons (Dicko x2, Sako)

Decent start to the season! Will continue updating!

Love it! And just as justcru7ing said, upper difficulty if it stays this easy to keep it realistic. Keep it up.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

The Next Generation

September - December 2013

Chelsea 2 - 1 Fulham
Ba 45', Oscar 73'
Bent 90'

It was a good game from both teams in the London derby, but in my opinion Chelsea got lucky with a rebound goal to win the game. I'm still proud of my players.

Swansea 0 - 3 Fulham (CO Cup)
Duff 45', Rodallega 57', 86'

It was an amazing performance from us. Duffy scored again on the 45th with a header. We were in control of the game.

Fulham 2 - 1 Cardiff City
Vilhena 23', Bent 76'
Bellamy 14'

We actually didn't play that good, but all that matters are the goals. Bent continued his great form as a supersub. (The game was simmed)

Fulham 1 - 1 Stoke City

Kacaniclic 32'
Robbie Keane 54' (pen)

Stoke deserved the victory. It's that simple. They were dominant during the whole game and we only got a few shots away. Also we gave a penalty away AGAIN.

Crystal Palace 0 - 3 Fulham

Townsend 42', Dejagah 74', 83'

Again, a really nice performance against a not that great side. Townsend and Dejagah have turned into real attacking threaths from the wings.

Southampton 0 - 0 Fulham

One word: Boring. Neither side had more than 2 shots. Both teams defended well.

Fulham 1 - 0 Reading (CO Cup)

McCleary 90' (OG)

We had our chances but the boys didn't take them. I'm glad that we finally got a goal, but I feel sorry for their winger. Reading were getting destroyed, only our poor finishing saved them from a bigger defeat.

Our starting right back Sascha Riether got injured for 6 months. Corchia will need to survive all by himself at the right now.

Press Conference

What are your thoughts on the results?

I'm really happy, the team has been playing really well. There is no way we will finish anything below 10th.

What do you think about Kostas Mitroglou not scoring?

It always takes a bit of time to get used to a new league away from home. Especially if you move from the dominant Olympiacos to a team like Fulham. But he is a great striker and I trust him.

How about Bent's playing time? Shouldn't he be the first-choice striker?

You are correct, Darren is in really good form. But we have talked with him and he is happy even without playing so much. Also let's not forget about Hugo (Rodallega) who is also in good form. Everyone will get chances.

What is your opinion on Riether's injury?

I think it was a really bad tackle and the opposite player should've been sent off, but the referee disagreed. And now Sascha won't play for six months, but we have an amazing young talent Sebastian Corchia for that position.

Do you think Sebastian Corchia is ready to replace Riether?

Absolutely! He is really talented and a good player.

November 2013

Fulham 1 - 0 Manchester United

Townsend 34'

A really, really great game! ManU didn't have many chances and we kept possession and had lots of shots. I think we deserved the victory.

Liverpool 2 - 1 Fulham
Sturridge 32', Sterling 62'
Holtby 81'

We tried our best and played well, but it wasn't enough. Liverpool were just amazing. They passed well, shot well, kept possession and played like a team. What else can you expect against a great team like them?

Fulham 2 - 2 Swansea
Rodallega 57', Dejagah 84'
Bony 45', Cañas 60'

The draw was well deserved and we fought hard for it. Swansea were good and if it wasn't Ashkan Dejagah with another great longshot we would've lost. Swansea had over 60% possession and many, many shots.

West Ham 2 - 3
Carroll 5', 67'
Townsend 45', Rodallega 60', Holtby 72'

West Ham started really well in the London derby, but our guys kept fighting till the end. The three inform players scored again.

December 2013

*Note: Since December 1st the games will be played on legendary*

Fulham 4 - 0 Derby County (CO Cup)

Kacaniclic 11', 57', 86', Riise 42'

Amazing result as we progressed in the cup. It's our best chance of winning some silverweare. (The game was simmed)

Fulham 1 - 1 Aston Villa

Dejagah 45'
Luna 90'

We got the lead with a rebound goal from our Iranese star, but Villa kept on attacking until they got their goal at the 90th minute. Not the best game we've had.

Spurs 2 - 0 Fulham

Paulinho 38', 89'

In another London derby we got hammered. Tottenham were superior in every aspect. We need to be better. The other goal was a great cross and the othet was a rebound.

Everton 1 - 0 Fulham

Barkley 89'

We wanted to bounce back after the defeat against Spurs, but the game turned out to be really boring. Until the f-ing 89th minute, when Toffees' young star Ross Barkley scored from a nice counter attack.

Fulham 0 - 4 Manchester City

Yaya Toure 7', 89', Fernandinho 57', 31'

And so our losing form continues. ManC outplayed us completely. Their strikers were superior, their defence was superior with newly bought Thiago Silva, and their midfield was superior. The two holding midfielders got two goals both, and both of them got a header and a shot from outside the box.

Norwich 0 -1 Fulham

Dejagah 15'

A good game, but the outcome doesn't tell that. We had 10 shots compared to their 3. And we finally ended our losing streak.

Hull City 0 - 2 Fulham
Dejagah 25', Rodallega 72'

A good game to give us the three points again. I'm really happy about Rodallega and Dejagah and their contribution to the team.

Press Conference

Mr Ganchév, what happened?

Well, we got too confident and the teams we played were really good. But everyone is giving 100% now for sure.

Mitroglou still hasnt scored a single goal whole season. What will you do with him?

To be honest, I'm starting to lose hope with him. He has had plenty of chances every game, but something isn't working. He has also said, that he isn't happy in England.

Are you going to get rid of him?

No more questions about the squad.

Who will you replace in January?

I already said "No more".

Transfer targets

I'll try to sell Mitroglou for nice amount of money and I want to bring in Adrian Ramos, Morata, Torres, Rodrigo from Benfica or Welbeck as a replacement. Other areas of the team are good as they are.

My starting XI (4-2-3-1):

Stekelenburg

Corchia - Nastasic - Hangeland - Richardson
---------Parker --- Vilhena --------
Townsend -- Holtby -- Dejagah
----------Bent/Rodallega/Mitroglou------------

Sorry for a long post! Hope you enjoy!!! Also, feedback will be really appreciated!!!

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

TEAM:CHELSEA

I started up a career mode with my favourite team; Chelsea. I made a few summer signings but not many left.

IN:
Pogba ( money + ramires)
Diego Costa (money + Ba)

I was looking to bring in Sergio Ramos but I didn't have enough money so I'm planning on asking the board for money in January to buy him

during the friendlies Torres was in better form then Costa so I played Torres for the opening day of the season and what does he do? get a 9.8 match rating against Hull City. my next game I play is against Aston Villa and I play Costa up top and he finishes the match with a 8.0 match rating. for the upcoming match against Manchester United I have decided to play Torres up front for his incredible run of form.

31' min in Oscar scores a header
Man U 0-1 Chelsea

56' min Fernando Torres scores a great goal from a great run
Man U 0-2 Chelsea

65' min Willian finishes his shot after a few saves.
Man U 0-3 Chelsea

FT: Man Utd 0-3 Chelsea

after that match I was amazed because it was a fair match the whole game but Chelsea just finished their chances.

INJURY REPORT:

ANDRE SHURRLE - suffered a bruised shoulder against Aston Villa and will be out for 9 days

PAUL POGBA - suffered a sprained ankle against his old old team Manchester United. he will be out of the lineup for at least 4 weeks.

Pogba has had the worst luck all of his shots have hit the woodwork and when he finally puts it in the back of the net he was offside and then he gets injured against his old old team.

anyways so far I am loving this career mode and will update soon.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Cardiff City: Return of the Bluebirds
October Update

Cardiff City 3 - 2 Newcastle United
Mutch 36', 43'; Campbell 57'
Santon 35', Marveaux 80'

Newcastle opened the scoring, but we struck back on two quick goals from Jordon Mutch, his first two of the season. The first was a free header on a cross from Theophile-Catherine, while the second he tracked down a through ball from Zaha. Campbell's goal also came on a Zaha through ball. Marveaux pulled one back for the visitors, but we were able to hang on for our second victory of the season.

Chelsea 4 - 0 Cardiff City
Willian 20', Eto'o 27', Oscar 51', Torres 90'

Chelsea absolutely demolished us, putting an end to our very brief run of excellent form. We managed more yellow cards (6) than shots on target (5) in a thoroughly convincing - and frustrating - demolishing.

Norwich City 2 - 1 Cardiff City
Hooper 11', Diof 81' (pen)
Campbell 9'

Still reeling from the Chelsea defeat, we started early against Norwich but almost immediately conceded Hooper's equalizer. From there it was a fairly dull back-and-forth with neither side able to capitalize on its few opportunities. Lescott tripped Hooper at the edge of the box in the 81st minute, and Diouf was able to convert the PK to hand us our second straight defeat and a letter from the board saying we need to win matches like this one.

Nine points from nine matches isn't terrible for this team, but I hope we can do better to stay up. Sitting at 14th should be a comfortable position, but we're still only 3 points above the relegation zone. Looks like it should be a dogfight, especially if we continue to fail to get results against teams like Norwich and Hull, not to mention the thorough dismantling by Chelsea and Man City.
