Nope, and they never will. Not as long as Sam Rivera is in charge. See his response to this question during the FIFA 22 Q&A. They aren't interested in making a football game.

These sliders definitely make a difference, top work 😎

I really enjoyed most of the beta, they’ve absolutely ruined it by reducing responsiveness to give the illusion of the AI competing. Feels like you’re playing on a beach with a medicine ball. First time passes are impossible as those awful and ridiculous scuffs that dribble 2 yards away no matter how hard you aim to hit the pass have returned. Through balls are always, always massively underhit, as are all passes tbf. The lovely feints and body swerves, change of directions and subtle ball manipulations have all gone. It’s FIFA22 on Mogadon. Lazy bastards.

Better left to the main forum in an impressions thread. The goal here is to dial in Matt10's sliders, not complain about EA.

I noticed that the 50/51 acceleration in favor of the cpu gives them advantage in that speedy players will just burst through defenders during counter attacks. So experimented with it and the 51 acceleration for the cpu gives a delay reaction for the user AI defenders. Hence, very prone to being left behind by the cpu attackers.

I’ve only played 2 games so far but I’m loving the way the game is playing compared to last year. Much more difficult to just play through the midfield. Quick passes and one-twos are a must!

Has anyone messed with the referee strictness setting yet? It can only be changed in the main menu, but from what I’ve read it seems like it will affect CM as well. Or am I wrong on that?
