I take lots of shots outside the box, the AI does that sometimes aswell, but I remember they used to shoot more when they had space, now they constantly try to pass until they're one vs one, not every time though, but most of the times.

I was playing with the Oct 1 update and just logged in and there is a new update. 475mb on xbox. I'm new to posting here but a vet in terms of digesting info spat about. This fifa seems like it needs more adjusting then past fifas? I'm as die hard a fifa player as you'll find so there is no chance of me quitting the game or bad mouthing it. I played maybe 10 games on slow with standard OP sliders and had not read a word of the forum. I was asking my girlfriend if im crazy or if the players just look like giving up. On my team and the opposition! It felt scripted ( I hate this word ) .. I was up 4-0 and lost 5-4. My defenders just refused to get anywhere near an opposing player in their final 3rd. Then I played about 5 games on normal after reading the complaints about defender give up and daa. The games on normal with similar sliders but adjusted sprint speed to 25/25 And pass speed to 42/42. Also I play on legendary. I use attackers like ousmane dembele, sancho, felix, dybala, vinicius, sessengnon and ikone on the outside. ( apparently where 75% or more of the complaints are coming from, the wings)

I actually think this year needs less adjusting but it's just taking longer to nail down a couple of areas because of the changes to defending and 1v1's.

Well the only thing fixed related to cm is the second division Italian league scheduling. So unless your worried about that then there is no reason to restart your cm.

Tooled around last night with the patch, playing with the sprint value on slow speed.

What jumps out to me is an issue I highlighted at launch.

The animation that’s killing our experience is the run, run, shuffle, run, run, shuffle sequence from the AI defenders. That shuffle allows you to get to the end line, at will.

Now the difference is, at launch you’d get to endline and your striker would arrive to the cross unmarked. With the patch it seemed like the AI Cb’s were more aware of that run, and marking it.

My focus will be eliminating that shuffle animation in the context of 1v1 wing match ups.

• Players with multiple First Party accounts that were connected to the same EA account were sometimes experiencing various errors when playing in modes such as FUT or VOLTA FOOTBALL.

• Stability issue impacting some players during the initial bootflow into the game, or when proceeding into a match.
