Well it's almost February and no news that I have found.

I have an inkling it may be an add on to FIFA 18.

I would prefer a $20 add-on instead of a $60 game which is essentially a copy of FIFA 18 with more national teams and players. But that's unlikely to happen as EA knows the WC game will sell and they can make easy bucks selling a full priced game instead of a DLC which won't be that lucrative.

And to say that it will be just like FIFA 18 ignores the fact that World Cup 14 and 10 were not copies of the games that came out the year previous. They were definitely unique.

I assumed the addon would include all the national teams with proper WC kits, updated squads and FIFA tournament along with a pre-qualifier event if your country didn't qualify for the tourney.
