Got the game on Thursday and have only had time to play two periods but played those two periods on goalie lock with these sliders. After two periods I was down 4-3 and was being outshot 21-18. If I wasn't being completely stupid and also figuring out the different goalie moves the score probably would have been a little lower.

Overall the sliders felt very good and I look forward to playing several full games tonight. If I think of it I'll post my results.

Flyer,
I just got the game last night.. Fired up your sliders this morning.. In the first period they had 25 shots to my 6 LOL... I know that is because I don't know all the controls yet. One of the issues is that the opposing team would attack the puck really fast yet my players it takes forever to get there... Is there something I can do to change this alittle where it's more equal?? Have you seen this?? Thanks for your time

I seem to be having the exact opposite problem on all-star.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

How long have you been playing the NHL series? If you are new there is a pretty steep learning curve, but once you get it the game is great.

I've played this series religiously since NHL 08 so I've gotten pretty good at it. All-star may not be challenging enough. And that is unfortunate because I feel like all-star is the most realistic setting. I'm trying to figure out a superstar set of sliders that does not allow the attribute boosts for the AI.

You'll only get better. Eventually you will be outshooting the CPU on all-star. My biggest complaint with these sliders (nothing against you flyermania), is that I completely control the pace of the game. I am never back on my heels. The goals that the CPU scores on me are off of odd-man rushes or me getting out of position for some reason.

The CPU never has sustained pressure in my own end. I feel like I am running a power-play the whole game.
