These sliders obviously aren't going to be for everyone, and as your skill level varies, so will your mileage with these..

However, I started up an Oilers GM mode tonight using these and I had the most fun I've had with a hockey game. I find that NHL 10 is truly a game of variability. It's not like 09 or iterations before that where every game's stat line was an average and it was basically all the same.

Some nights I get 1 power play. Some nights I get 6. Some nights I score 0 goals. Other nights I'll score 4 or more. Some nights I'll get 0 breakaways, some nights I'll have multiple ones. The only certainty is that I'm going to try to hit everything that moves lol

It's just like, anything goes.. you never know what will happen and I am absolutely loving it. Thanks for this slider set man. I was afraid that 12 minutes would be too long, but with the amount of fun I'm having it's definitely not.
Took the words right outta my mouth...

this is what is gonna make this game so addicting.

For instance...just played a game against Anaheim...1 penalty through 2 periods (to Parros for starting stuff after the whistle, go figure)...

then in the third period there are 10 penalties called, each team ending with 4 PP's.

Brilliant.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

Ok Pro is too easy as CPU doesnt have much attack But Allstar is a bit tough for me so Im on Allstar but I lowered cpu stick lift eff to 1 and cpu poke Effect to 4 with Excellent results if anyone is wanting to move up to Allstar
Fm still wondering if your seeing hu Breakaways ?
I just cant get spacing and they either catch me , trip me or poke it , thanks

I'm seeing about the right amount of breakaways...FWIW.

Good to hear...they're not going to be exactly perfect for everyone, but I think they can be a solid base for people to start with.

Thanks for the kind words...I appreciate it. Glad to hear you are getting good and varied results. I still am too, which is a good thing!

I do see them, but the timing and lead pass has to be right. You can try increasing your player acceleration slider to create more spacing if you need to.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

Just played a couple games with these sliders as the Hawks, lost 6-2 to the Sharks and then 3-0 to the Predators. I feel like these play well but I'm a little overmatched in some way. Really like them though and will work to try to improve my game so I can enjoy these more.

When he says, like 3 clicks, is that from default setting, or from all from the left?
