its tough and im on Pro but im learning to move or deke with the proper skaters as cpu is sweeping / diving.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

I found the key to getting the CPU to score goals against you... you just have to suck at defense like me.

I played two games against the Penguins last night and lost 8-3 (OUCH) and 4-3 in OT. I haven't played an NHL game since 08 so i'm starting out on Pro, but i'm still getting my butt kicked! I do love the way the game plays this year, and i've had really good stats with these... 12 minutes seems perfect. The attributes slider seems to really make a difference too because Crosby has just been killing me.

Using default sliders all my games were 1-0 or 2-1, so it was nice to finally see some scoring from both sides. Great work!

I see a good variety....clean wristers, clean slappers, deflections, rebounds, etc.

Not sure on this one yet...I think you set the sim period length to determine the stat results in the simmed games.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

Hey Flyer...

I used you sliders as a base for the ones I'm using in my Franchise...

I tweaked a few things like the goalies for HUM I bumped up to 4 and the CPU down to 1 so that there is no advantage for the CPU goaltender...

Also, I lowered the human fatigue effect a little bit because I've found that playing with it at 5 or 6 is really a bit too much due to the fact that the CPU doesn't show as much 'effect'...still have to roll four lines though.

...and I lowered the acceleration to 2...three is too much.

Other than that, I'm pretty much going with these for my Blues chise.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

Flyermania, I have got to say... you are the man.

These sliders obviously aren't going to be for everyone, and as your skill level varies, so will your mileage with these..

However, I started up an Oilers GM mode tonight using these and I had the most fun I've had with a hockey game. I find that NHL 10 is truly a game of variability. It's not like 09 or iterations before that where every game's stat line was an average and it was basically all the same.

Some nights I get 1 power play. Some nights I get 6. Some nights I score 0 goals. Other nights I'll score 4 or more. Some nights I'll get 0 breakaways, some nights I'll have multiple ones. The only certainty is that I'm going to try to hit everything that moves lol

It's just like, anything goes.. you never know what will happen and I am absolutely loving it. Thanks for this slider set man. I was afraid that 12 minutes would be too long, but with the amount of fun I'm having it's definitely not.

ANybody try these with goalie BAP? I am seeing far too low of shot totals (making my save pct crappy) and the other teams goalie is in robo mode stopping darn near everything.
