AI Learning

So I lowered this all the way and it seems to me the Cpu takes more penalties with it this way. Two games and I saw 4/5 penalties from the Cpu. Cranked it to 3 and the Cpu commited 1. I'll continue testing this, but I wouldn't be suprised if this was the case.

Re: AI Learning

I keep mine at 3. Seems to be a more "balanced" gameplay. Not too many "comeback" moments. But, I think this slider combined with the CPU offense strat slider (I believe mine is at 3 or less for this as well) helps reduce the comeback modes. Creates a more "human" element.

i was wondering why i was seeing more penalties than everyone else on the boards in general. all i seen were guys saying they cant get the cpu to take penalties, all while i was getting any where between 3 to 5 PP's a game. i had 8 one game, 10 min periods.

i went and looked and the AI Learning and CPU Diff were both set to 2.

i also think guys dont try to draw penalties vs cpu either. meaning they dont deke out while skating by a cpu defender, seems it triggers some tripping calls.. same goes for the regular puck control button as well. if you never use either, the cpu just basically takes the puck from you without poking or anything. using the above, they poke and end up taking penalties.

or Cpu Cheat Slider. Upping the slider will make things more difficult, but frustrating as well, because the Cpu isn't playing smarter just cheap. It may effect the amount of penalties the Cpu takes as well, but even if it does playing with it lowered all the way is the only way to go.
