They never go in, ever. 2 on 1, 2 on 0, 3 on 0... goalies save them all. I can't tell a difference after update.

Re: Cross Crease Goals

I don't do a true one timer. I let the puck settle initially just for a split second, and shoot it back farside. Goals scored with regularity.

I score one-timers, but I do have my game set to auto-aim. Most people complaining about not being able to score just suck at aiming.

And from the time I spend playing online, plenty of gamers can aim well. They just don't clog the interwebs with with complaints that goalies are too tough and the CPU cheats.

Re: Cross Crease Goals

Like I said before, online passing is mostly tape to tape, so it's normal there's no problem at all scoring one timers when playing online, it's quite easy. Most people here who are having trouble scoring on one timers (me included) are playing offline with manual shot aiming, lower game speed, low pass assist and low shot accuracy, trying to get a realistic gameplay. Goalies simply seem too quick for these kinds of settings, they are tuned for online play where they have to make many big saves, because the game is really offensive-oriented. Big scoring chances like these only happen once in a while with a somewhat realistic slider set, so if the goalie then always comes up with a huge save, it can become a bit irritating.

My point exactly. I wish EA could release a tuner 1.07 that makes the goalies have much slower reaction time, as well as tuner 1.08 that doesn't include these changes. This way, us offline folk could use 1.07 and everything would remain the same for online gameplay. Win win situation
