Unfortunately, he hasn't progressed much from there. But honestly, he doesnt really need to. He's a guy that can put up 70 points a season with his skills if you know how to use him.

Two other hidden gem type players I've found are Francois Bouchard and Casey Pierre-Zabotel. Both guys are only ike 74-75 overall, but thy have fantastic puck handling abilities and good shooting stats. They're both great if you like to set up on the halfboards as they have agility ratings in the mid 80s as well

For me though, it's Aaron Palushaj. I signed him as an RFA (didn't realize he was a RFA), but ended up not having to give any compensation. He's rated 76, but his speed is great, he's a pretty good scorer, and a tremendous penalty killer. He is perfect in the bottom six, but I've had to move him up to the second line in injury situations, and he has performed like a top six.
thanks for this info...

Re: Best underated players to use

I traded for LINDEN VEY from LA... He is a 70 overall and only 21 yrs old 4 star potential. Played the first 6 games and had 4g and 2 assists playing with Kelly and Thornton on the 4th Line. I got him for a 4th rd pick I think. He is on the baby bruins and having a pretty good season thru 38 games he has 12g and 22a on the 3rd line. Also if you need a DMAN try to get TORY KRUG from the bruins. he is a 60 overall but is wicked fast skater and a HUGE hitter. I called him up just to play him for 10 games and he ha 2g 4a in 10 games. Going to keep him up for playoffs.

Hope these guys help

Michael Grabner from the Islanders is a very underrated player for me, he's so quick and has a good shot.

I have a few but my favorite is JF Jacques. He's 6'4" can hit, skates good enough and he takes up room with his 6'4" frame. Not a great shooter but if you put him in front of the net he can pick up pucks and screen goalies.
