Yepp. It seems if you use only horizon without extracting the con file it works anyway.

Working on the xml now.. got the player bio re-organized. For the skater ai, do we know what all the "trait" tabs are for?

I posted the information below on page 26 of this thread. they are Config files (XML files) for NHL13. They are not 100% complete but have a majority of the feilds identified and realigned for NHL13, Roster and Be a GM. If you want to finish identifying the feilds and reordering them to your own liking, you are welcome to do so. You simply need to invest your time and effort like so many of us have on this site and project. To do this you will need the following tools... You will need to download Artems TDBView to identify all the fields that are not identified, and an XML editor t change the names and reorganize the fields. Otherwise, feel free to use the config files as they are, or not. Enjoy!!

I am posting links to my NHL13 Roster & Be A GM Config files for the EA DB Editor. Most fields have been identified in and it is fairly organized.

Re: NHL 14 Roster Tools

Thank you for your work on this. I finally had some time tonight to get everything up and running smoothly. I have a question though. Has anybody figured out the contract fields? For example, I want to edit Patrice Bergeron's contract. He is set to make $5 million this year, and $6.5 for the next 8 years. In the database, divide the number that's in there under "Contract Dollars" by 200 and you get the player's salary in millions. For Bergeron, in the database I entered:

Contract Length - 1
Contract Multi-Year - 0
Contract Dollars - 1000 ($5 million)
2-Way Contract - 0
Extension Length - 8
Extension Dollars - 1300 ($6.5 million)
Extension 2-Way - 0

However, in Be a GM, it only shows Bergeron with 1 year at $5 million. It isn't counting the extension for some reason. Anybody have any insight in this? If I can figure this out I'll be able to release my rosters this year!

From what I understand, contract extensions don't work properly. You'd be better suited just making it a 9 year deal worth 6.5M.
