Hey northman hows it going. Did you hear about Mickeys accident. His girlfriend is still recoverying hopfully she fully recovers.

Superstar (I know we tried an allstar set, to help with gameplay/better hitting physics but couldnt get cpu hard enough on that level). Had used simulation for awhile (after Mickey thought of using the arcade mode to get better loose feel, loose pucks, on ice feel), but just couldnt get goalies to be good enough, so I went back to where the sliders were before. On hardcore again now, but this is the first time with tuner 1.01, that was what we found when using arcade or simulation was that tuner 1.01 is better for the skating.

Injury slider, 2.

After talking with Cycloniac about ways to make the goalies better (to get some lower scoring games mixed in there) he said goalie reaction at 2 or 1 would make goalies better then on 3. Tried a good sample size and even though it did, just couldn't get enough lower scoring games mixed in so I just said **** this and went back to the old school sliders from before. He has good ideas/knows stuff. Like his interceptions at 0/0 and puck control at 3/3 to get rid of that magnetic puck feel thing.

He also put attribute to 6 (and I know we talked about this mths ago and ended up keeping it at 3). But I have been getting really good games with attributes at 6 (I even got a couple of lower scoring game). The players skate better/you can see more actual strides and puck handling on this setting.

Right now were going with
tuner 1.01
gamestyle hardcore
level superstar
attributes at 6

One thing that pissed me off, was when the cpu came right down the middle and my 2 Dmen just stood there and watched the guy go by and shoot. One thing you can do is use the high pressure def. team system and high point. Those help that kind of thing.

For more pressure from the cpu on your players or for your Dmen on the cpu, raise the aggression. I had it higher but I don't like the tackling (so I ve been going between 3-5). For what you mentioned just have human aggression higher then cpu. Put it to 6 and go one notch at a time until its good.

Another thing you can do is adjust the 3 D pairs efficiency/energy slider. (I have them all a preset sliders because I cannot adjust the cpu's)(otherwise I would have them pre set for all teams) Theres just no team AI settings you can save. But if you need to do this to get sliders where/how you want, then its an option.

I'll try the attributes at 6 later. Only thing I noticed was CPU hits are low. I out hit 2-1 and I don't hit unless I have to. More poke and block passes.

Noticed that, tuner 1.01 might do that.

With gamepseed at 1 and attributes at 6 theres no domino effect. Its also better for contact physics (players do not fall over each other too much) It does this when the overall speed is too fast.

Tried shot power at 4 and ss power at 3 a mth ago when using attributes at 3 and didn't work well, but with attributes at 6 it works very well. Cycloniac knows things.

Been getting some lower scoring games mixed in there, even a couple shutouts. Might put screen to 1or2 as long as theres still some lower scoring games. We tried so many things to achieve this the past 4wks and couldn't get it just right. With attributes at 6, bang now theres some lower scoring games/shutouts. I like the overall speed because the faster it is the easier it is and for 4th liners to skate circles around top6/top2 players.

A couple things

- not enough penalties. Need to max all that out.
- shot power at 4 has always been something I liked
- might try manual passing on. On a 2 on 1 you need to fire a pass across to capitalize. With manual passing off you don't have the option of when to make a harder pass or float one. Leads to the CPU picking off or breaking up passes and scoring chances left on the ice.
- tuner 1.01 seems to be the best one for skating physics.
- I like the goalie reaction at 3, but for screen effect, if the goalie can't see the puck he's not likely to stop it unless it just hits him. Raising this would allow more goals from the point and shots off the wing on the rush. Which in turn would create a bigger variety in goals to be had.

I liked the gameplay. It's going to take me a few games to get the hang of it. What do you think of my suggestions. I'm ready to start a GM once the January roster update is released.

I havnt had a problem with the passing (so I havnt tried the manual) I did try it once before but it messed me up (I wanted a consistent pass every time and wasn't getting that with that on). I understand what your saying.

It does takes a few games to get used to speed/differences in the skating, but it is sweet once you do.

I got more penaltys on 6/6 and 4 so go with that.

I put the screen to 0, when I was looking for ways to get goalies better/lower scoring games mixed in. On 0 it does take that stuff you mentioned away. I will check on that as well to see if that can be on 1or2 and still get some lower scoring games mixed in.

Just not getting enough lower scoring games mixed in there. Going to keep at 0. I still get goals from point and traffic, just not as much.

Put ss acc to 2/2 for now to help with the goals/action from point. Happy medium with the screen thing.

Re: Regulation Sliders for NHL15 (keep it simple)

What changes would you make for 13-15 min periods ?? I can't stand seein a shift last 2minutes or more. Plus I have to have the difficulty all the way up so I don't dominate toa and shots but my save percentages are too low ?? What adjustment would you make for that ?? Do you ever get out shot or out possessed with these cause I like the gameplay I just dominate every game but I still lose a lot
