Ok. I'll try both shot power and slap shot power at 4. Leave accuracy as is and put goalie reaction at 2 and screen at 1.

The thing I like about my sliders before the patch ruined them was that I was able to score on slap shots, wrist shots and deflections. After the patch it was dekes, one timers and greasy rebound garbage goals.

Yeah shot power increased one notch should give the puck that needed bit of steam so we can see some clean goals go in
The lower goalie reaction seems to me like its just tones down the way the reacts ... instead of diving across the net and making a highight reel save that happens maybe 3 times a year it happens 8 times a game.
With it lower you see much less of that and I never thought of trying it on this years title.
Mind you finding a solid slider set for vanilla rosters is a much different ballgame than if you where going custom roster....... I know its a fat chance but man do I hope we get it put back in this year.

well folks after lots of further testing Northmen and I have tossed around a few ideas back and fourth and I think we have really struck gold now, We took the already solid base set we had in place and made some tweaks mainly focusing on goalies and shots.

1.01 update

acceleration: 2/2
NOTE: The game speed was a tad bit to speedy and frantic and also had a lot more shots on goal with this on 3/3, The actual game speed slider has less of a effect on speed and more of a react to the play speed so it should shouldn't be touched so tweaking the acceleration actually slows the game to a much better pace.

hitting 2/2
NOTE:

After the patch was released the cpu really turned it up on there hitting so we have no need to give them a edge for balancing.

shot power: 4
Note: shots just weren't coming of sticks with enough velocity and goalies where sucking everything up way to easy, now the rebounds are better and some goals will beat to the goalie clean without having to be deke crazy or hit a perfect one timer

we are still trying to find the perfect balance for goalies to commit to shots but not over commit and perform a million diving saves a game so stay tuned for more.

I first wanted to thank you for these sliders. I had been using AlTitos sliders and just wast getting the type of gameplay I wanted. Specifically with penalties. I played 15 games in my Be A GM & I had only been on 12 power plays. Whereas the other teams are up to like 60-70 when I check the team stats.

So anyway, I tested yours out and was pleased with the gameplay and amount of penalties.

Some things I do see that I'd like to get your thoughts on:

I did change the difficulty to Superstar & bumped CPU difficulty from 0 to 1.

On All-Star w/ CPU difficulty 0 (zero) I was doubling the cpu on time of possession & shots. After the difficulty change I was seeing near identical TOP / shots / & hits. (I realize this will vary for everyone though)

To me the speed was way too high and frantic. I was testing some things out last night & didnt settle on anything so I will make the changes you speak of and see if it slows it down a bit.

Puck possession - I feel as though the cpu can knock the puck from me with ease and I cant seem to get it from them unless I go for a big hit. If I try poke checks they just dance around me with ease. Not just skilled players either.

CPU passing - They make ridiculous tape to tape passes from behind their goal line to the red line or right to my blue line. Whereas my passes are constantly getting intercepted.

Now I realize some of these may be a result of the change to Superstar & CPU difficulty to 1. If that's the case I guess I'll just live with it as the rest is pretty spot on. Try to tweak it a little on my own as the difficulty is different from yours.

Again thanks for these. Really enjoying the games.

Everything looks good mayhem. I think when we figure out the goalies we can apply to work at EA haha. I will test some games tonight after some NFL games. Do you have PS4? What's your psn name? Add you maybe take you on in the hit crazed online game?

What camera do you use and puck and shadow settings?

I'll try these today after some football as I'm willing to try anything at this point.

I use dynamic medium with authentic puck size and shadow

Also mayhem. I have put injuries to 2/2. Everytime that there was an injury the player never was returning to the game. I miss the feature a few years back where a player would take a high stick or have a broken jaw. He would then wear a face shield.

Northmen, I still only see tuner 1.00

Are you seeing 1.01 or just 1.00 and now its 1.01

The update on nhl15 on main page of ps4 says update installed on fri. night.

Is there anything were missing here (like setting the rgb,etc. to full in the settings).
